7,000 plus people and 103 food processing plants with massive infections.

Kind of makes you wonder if someone is making sure either through testing or purposefully infecting and targeting the food industry for political points.

You should add this to the conspiracy thread.

It's all about money and this was all started by the evil gubment.

LOL, I take it as a sign that things are much better that we're getting back to the govt conspiracies, big pharma conspiracies, and that capitalism wants to sacrifice lives for the bottom line.  Also, Drudge is all-in on Covid-19 doom.

It's good that we learn a lot from this that the world was clearly unprepared for.  But I'm afraid one of the memorable impacts is that people aren't going to take the next one as seriously.  We've had a few very deadly viruses out of China, and now we've had a highly contagious one.  I'm afraid we'll see a truly deadly pandemic in our lifetime, possibly within 20 years.

Time to start prepping and get myself a stocked-up hideout in the boonies.  Anyone notice that quite a few celebrities bugged out to Utah/Montana to bunker with their families?

This kind of makes me wonder if there actually is a depth to your stupidity or if it has infinite reach.

Why conspiracy theories are rampant when people feel helpless.

Sure, Spock posts dumb shit, but this isn't a "conspiracy". Yes, it probably is a coincidence that he was studying the disease when he got killed (lovers quarrel maybe?, would be my bet) and have nothing to do with his research, but the guy actually was murdered and it is being covered by all news agencies. The Breitbart article (who the fuck actually reads that website) doesn't even post any theories on why he died, like blaming it on China or something.

You know, it takes some talent & effort to find the dumbest, most ridiculous stories from Breitbart.

Well, okay, so O’boogie’s link is appropriate then.

Yes.  She's a discredited hack whose credentials have been selectively stated at the outset.

That paper she published in the Science journal?  Yeah, that was retracted.

Just another case of those who want something to be true letting their confirmation bias run amok and building a case so slanted and inaccurate that writers from Occupy Democrats would be incensed.

Yeah, but Spock is a seasoned vet at it.

What? A conspiracy would be the article saying it's probably China or the government behind his murder. The article simply said the guy was researching covid and was murdered by some other Chinese guy, who then killed himself. I said it was probly was just an ex lover, the opposite of a conspiracy.

I was sharing the link with Spock not because of any one thing he's posted, but because of several.  I just saw that article about why conspiracy theories become prevalent during big uncontrollable events and it seemed appropriate to this discussion.

My point is every media agency reporting about this. Insinuating something is fishy, aka what boogie’s link suggests.
