Well we are certainly going to have a massive spike if pictures on here and a few others ive seen indicate how the whole state plans on acting. To answer the question though, I don't think we shut down again. The hospitals/local governments have had plenty of time to plan for things now. I could see them shutting down(temp or long term) places that repeatedly ignore the guidelines.

I’ll take it

I understand you can't eat or drink with a mask, but wearing one is a small inconvenience (except for exercise) to be able to go out and do stuff. Just seems irresponsible to open back up and not require masks.
Before people say masks don't really help, Cuomo reported that healthcare workers in NY had below average rates of infection, and that's with them being tested far more than other groups. That would indicate to me that masks provide some protection, but maybe only N95 (which DO suck to wear for extended periods of time).
He backtracked bc people are giant fucking babies.

Maybe other countries have these people, too, but it seems like the US is unique in having factions that believe we should shutdown until the virus is eradicated or multiple vaccines are available.

It's not just the US. There are a lot of dramatic crybabies in Europe too.
We are going to attempt to patio drink at 2pm at The Bogey Inn.. I’ll update later
Called my barber this morning and got his next available appointment which is next Friday morning. This is the longest my hair has ever been so this is going to be a very satisfying haircut.
Also made reservations for dinner on a patio up the street from us. We walked by last night on the way to get ice cream and it was full (not crowded like the picture above, it's a small bistro-style restaurant) and found out their reservation policy when we got home. We had to call at 2pm today and were put on a list. They will call the next party as a table opens up and you have 15 minutes to get there to be seated. This is going to be a sizable bill.

I'm hoping zero. It should all depend on the state of health care facilities. If they are not overrun, then don't close a single thing down.
Drunj good time 120$ 9/10
We died.
Italy is reopening bars, restaurants, "non-essential" stores, and barbers/salons (with guidelines) starting tomorrow (18 May). I already booked with my barber for this Wednesday. I really need it. Italy is also going to allow regional travel (equivalent of going to another state) to begin on 3 June. Apparently they are opening and allowing other EU countries to come into Italy too, but it's not clear if other countries are allowing people to fly in from Italy. We shall see.

FIFY and no, not yet.

Trying to head to the mountains (Asheville) this weekend for Memorial day. Probably should have looked sooner.
Sounds like sports may be able to restart (training and competition) in Ohio starting June 1. I do not know anything concerning crowds in that. Indiana has June 15 as their restart date for competition, with crowds of 250. Kentucky is June 15 too, with groups of 50 on July 1.
The OHSAA and Dewine announce that certain sports can get going on May25th. What they didnt do was realize that schools arent allowed to do anything because the OHD said that no school activities till June 30.
THere are 10 different groups mandating 10 different things and nobody seems to be talking to each other.
UPDATE: i was tested for covid-19 on thursday and results were negative.

ODH said that school facilities are closed. I agree with your last sentence.

The simple truth that the OHSAA (the governing body for high school athletics) isn't part of the decision-making process says there's a wee bit of problem with how things are going. Never a good look when they have to basically take DeWine/Husted's daily report updates and have to toss together a memo by the next day because they seemingly had no clue as to what was announced until said announcement was made.
