posted by HereticCC so shook by any criticism of his god that he fires back by bringing up the response to...A FAR WEAKER VIRUS where CDC numbers state that COVID so far has killed six times as many people in the US than H1N1 did throughout its entirety.
In other words, a typical day.
It's the idea that he is going to chirp about presidential decisions about something that he screwed up. And also you made my point about total deaths...if corona is so deadly and Trump messed up.....why dont we have more deaths?

once again not the point.
Former president shouldnt be blasting away about anything on national TV. Not the norm. Not what this country needs. He had 8 years to form the government to be able to handle these situations but failed to do so.

He has as much right as anyone else to express his opinion, and I have the right to have my opinion on his opinion. In the past, doing so during a crisis was generally considered bad form by former presidents.
Frankly, I don't know how anyone not a partisan hack can claim that this POTUS has done a good job with this crisis, which is far more important than what an "ex:" has to say.

Really? What about the travel ban that the media and Dems blasted him for? A democrat wouldnt have done that. How about sending the military ships to NY to help? How about getting major manufacturers to switch plants over to making PPE? How about making sure we werent buying crappy tests from foreign countries that were 50% effective? What about having daily briefings with all 50 governors?
Think about the fact that people like me, you and Trump arent experts on infectious diseases. Advisors, doctors, specialists are. Looks like they were put in motion and given ample leverage to deal with this.

He can do whatever the hell he wants, dude.
Your feelings are hurt.

Trump followers cannot have it both ways. Trump has bitched about Obama at his rallies and via tweets for almost 12 years - and lots of it while Trump was in office. Trump says horrible crap about whoever he wants and then he and his followers act like they're hurt beyond repair whenever anyone says anyone says anything critical back to him.

That’s a good point, too. The hypocrisy of CC is just hilarious.

You been following Trump since 08 huh?
Trump's hypersensitivity is passed down to his loyal cronies. So fucking bizarre.

It's common knowledge that Trump was an outspoken critic of Obama all through the latter's term. He started in on the birther stuff as soon as that conspiracy was first spun.

First, since he's now a private citizen, he can do whatever the fuck he wants.
Second, I hope you remember this moment after Trump has left office. I'm sure he wouldn't dream of constantly shooting off about fuck all on national TV anytime he would get the chance.

In some legal sense he might be considered this but please........former presidents that are grobbling for media time and making policy statements arent acting like "private" citizens.

one could argue that the sitting president who also "grobbles" for media time isn't acting like a president.

I think we can all agree that most of the issues around the current president stem from a corrupt media.
Yeah, see his tweetstorm from yesterday. Totally the media's fault. Not sure why we continue to talk about that fool in this thread anyway.
Back on topic. I haven't really been tracking the numbers lately, but checked again yesterday. Russia now 3rd in cases but only 2k deaths?

No shit. STFU Spock.
Was a little surprised to see some places opening back up yesterday. Drove past the Dunkin and Starbuck's and they were packed with people inside. They had been drive thru only until this weekend.
Not open in Kentucky, but I saw the longest lines EVER for Outback and Olive Garden. Unbelievable. Mother's Day at those two places had to be multiple hour long waits for carry-out.
Those lines wrapped around the restaurants, then out into the roads. Plus, parking lots were full too.
