An ideal day:

Baylor over Oklahoma State
Georgia over Alabama
Cincinnati over Houston
Iowa over Michigan

3 of four teams playing today ahead of OSU lose,  they get back in playoff?  Committee would have to put a 2 loss non conference championship team in.

Yeah they are getting exposed today.  Their schedule was trash.

And they are using the OSU defensive motto. "Adjustments,we don't need no freaking adjustments"

Wonder who will be #1? I’d guess Alabama. Or maybe Michigan if they win big?

If Michigan wins I’d say:

1. Alabama

2. Michigan

3. Georgia

4. Cincinnati

I think UC needs to prep for Bama.

I'd LOVE to see Michigan #1 and Cincinnati #4, and have Cinci curb-stomp Michigan.  Will ensure that we don't see an All-$EC championship game.

Never a chance at that……

Guessing it isn't Ohio State based on how you phrased that...

I’ll guess Miami of Ohio

Yea, it's not Ohio State. I think my phraseology today has been a bit confusing.

Put it this way:

They beat Florida in a bowl game.

The next year they beat Georgia in a bowl game.

The year after that they beat South Carolina in a bowl game.

That is it!

An amazing run, 1973-1975 the Redhawks were 32-1-1 including the Tangerine Bowl (now the Citrus Bowl) wins over Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. They were unbeaten in 73, in 74 they tied with Purdue 7-7 at Purdue, and in 75 lost 14-13 to Michigan State at Michigan State.

I was lucky….I didn’t know they had many bowl games back then and didn’t know Miami was that good. I thought maybe Ben had them good and they beat good programs in off years….I couldn’t get any other team with a reasonable guess

Defense was lead by Brad Cousino. He was the MAC defensive player twice. In 1973 he beat out his future team mate Jack Lambert for the award.
