Agreed.

Super Troopers - 11/10
It’s almost 21 years old. Wtf.
Apex, starring Bruce Willis. 2/10, and that might be generous.
Only $3.99 for PPV should have clued me in. Bruce Willis should be ashamed - even Steven Segal would have turned down that script. Maybe going for "so bad, it's good" cult classic. But, no, just an awful movie.

Wife and I watched it and agreed, it was terrible. 2/10 maybe too gener
we watched the giver as a family since my daughter just finished the book. compared to what i thought about it before we watched, i really liked it (although the book i think told the story better) 7/10
Anyone planning to see The Batman this weekend? It looks good and early reviews are positive.
Seeing tonight. I've also heard great things.
I doubt I'll see it anytime soon, but it might actually get me to the theater for the first time in years.
Will it be on HBOMax, since they have their DC hub?

Not for awhile. Theaters are actually "surging" new releases for major blockbusters also. But it's like $2 more than a regular ticket, so not a huge deal.

The market will correct them if its a bad decision. But, I have a feeling everyone will still spend for this one. Frankly, looks better than Nolans (save for Begins).
I also have quite a bit of sympathy for the theaters. I LOVE going to the movies, and since they lose so much the last few years, Im willing to let them do what they feel will get them back up and running.
Going to see Batman tonight. Can’t remember last time I’ve been to theaters.
Saw it last night. It was great. Dark. Very David Fincher like. The use of Something in the Way is awesome.
Good to see Batman actually a detective.
9/10
Safe Haven 7/10
Watched on showtime. It’s about 8-9 years old and has a lifetime feel to it but it smears solid and last 30 minutes we’re really good. Julianne Hough…I’ve never had any trouble looking at her.
Batman - 9/10
21 Bridges - 7/10
Going to Batman tomorrow.
The Batman 7/10.
Love that it was “dark” but still held back from what it could be.
The “woke” isn’t as bad as some far fighters are saying it is. They changed Cat Woman from being a white girl and mentioned “white privilege” and “all rich people are evil” but that was really about it.
It just was slow at times but overall a good movie.
Better than Batman Vs Superman, not as good as The Dark Knight Trilogy (by far).
Wasn't Halle Berry Catwoman?
posted by jmogI realize I am minority, but I thought Begins was the only good movie (and it was great). TDK was pretty bad and saved by maybe the greatest villain performance in movie history — but Ledger was literally so good you forgot how slow parts were (ferry scene) and the dumb, forced two-face. Rises was just awful.Better than Batman Vs Superman, not as good as The Dark Knight Trilogy (by far).
