What didn't you like about this one? I hadn't heard of it, but it was pushed on netflix when I logged on last night and looked pretty good.
Last movie I watched last weekend, and I swear to god it was the first time watching it, was The Village. Only took 18 years. I knew the twist but I did like it.
Deep Water w/ Ben Affleck. 5/10

Wanda Sykes made the joke at AA. "Power of the Dog...yeah, great movie. Up for best picture. I've ALREADY watched it THREE TIMES! Yep...yep. And I'm almost halfway through!".
I was similar...took me 3 days and 4 sittings to finish it. Incredibly slow. No characters you care about. Boring AF plot (what the fuck was the plot?). I may be in monoirty, but I thought it was awful. Which sucks, cause it has 3 of my favorites -- though Jesse Plemons has been underwhelming in his serious drama roles.
Not exactly on topic, but worth sharing.
Latest Top Gun trailer.
Wooooooooooo!!!
I’ve probably actually mentioned it before on this thread but it’s an all time 10/10 favorite of mine and I watched it again today:
The Town

That is a good one. Think I gave it a 9.
Last night, for a bit of timely watching, I saw the mid-80s April Fool's Day. Kind of an endearing comedic slasher with a twist that's creative, if a bit nonsensical. About a 7/10 for me.
Morbius 5/10. Not bad, but not great either.
Watching CODA again. This is really a very well done film. Probably tops my list since 2019’s all-timer bunch.
Apple tv+, right?

Yes. I think can rent it though elsewhere, maybe?
Moonfall: 0/10. Turned it off halfway through.
Dr. Strange. Middle of the pack Marvel for me. 6/10
The new Scream movie on Amazon. Thought it was actually better than the original.
Fuck yeah, people! Apparently Winnie the Pooh went public domain this year, so we're getting a Winnie the Pooh slasher! This is great! Even if the movie likely will suck so much.
The Northman 1/10
The last Duel 7/10 probably need to rewatch because i didnt realize the movie was told from dif perspectives going into it so it was a little confusing.
Morbius 4/10
Moonfall -1/10
The Batman 7/10 I liked the concept but its absurd that batman would knock on the front door in an attempt to see the penguin or that he needs help to escape from a police station
Office Space - 10/10
Top Gun - 9/10
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Disney Buena Vista 1954
Kirk Douglas
James Mason
Peter Lorre
