Showers - length and frequency

How often do you shower? How long of showers do you take? If you shower at night, do you still shower in the morning?

My wife will take a shower at night if she works out, usually pretty quick, but still takes a shower (LOOOONG shower) in the morning to "wake up." I rarely take more than one in a day, unless I've done yard work or worked out or something and need to take another before bed. But, I won't then take another one in the morning. On my work from home days when I'm not leaving the house I'll typically skip a shower for that day (gross, I know).

My showers are typically 10 minutes or less. Had a buddy in college who would take about 1 minute to shower. Not sure how he was able to get clean, but he didn't stink so it was working.

I'm possibly the worst. Love me a hot shower.

I blame my house growing up and then college. Never had a good shower OR hot growing up. Our well was down a hill and there was no water pressure, plus a crap water heater. Got to college...free water and it was HOT. Add in college soccer, and I was taking 2-3 a day.

I still typically take 2, one in the morning and one at night. Only time I don't at night is if there's not much I did during the day. I don't like feeling dirty and laying in bed. I'm typically showering for 20 minutes, minimum.

Had the same issue growing up. Awful water pressure from the well, and it would run out on occasion, so you basically turned the water on to get wet, turned it off to lather up, and turned it back on the rinse. I can appreciate the fact that I've got no water issues now, but I still try to be quick about it.

Probably 10 minutes or so.

Every morning except the Saturdays that we're doing some sort of labor (remodeling, yard work). Will shower after the work is done and skip Sunday.

10 minutes max, usually probably 5 or so. Mainly shower at night. Have occasionally skipped a day if I don't do anything.

I guess I should add...I have a ton of hair. Hair past my shoulders (possibly mid-back now) and a beard that's only trimmed 1-2 times a year. I may treat it all better than most women.

Also, add in a shower beer or drink. It's my relaxation time. If I take a bath, it'll probably be an hour or so.

I work from home, so if I'm not leaving the house, I shower every other day. I don't really care if people think it's gross. I'm not smelly, and there's no reason to dry my skin out on a daily basis. Obviously this changes if I work out or sweat a bunch.

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and it depends on the activities I have scheduled. Again, no need to dry out and damage my hair for no reason.

My showers are typically 15 minutes long unless I have to shave my legs. Then we're looking at 25. I like them to be the temperature of boiling hot lava.

Very similar to others on both length and temperatures usually very hot. But I also take a lot of cold showers, lots of health benefits to mixing them in a few times a week

When at home I work out late morning early afternoon and shower after that. If I’m on the road I shower at night before I get in bed. Almost never shower in the morning (and never drink coffee). Never have an issue waking up when alarm goes off.

Occasionally I’ll shower twice, if I workout before work or something. Then do anything but sit around all day. I can’t go to bed having any sweat during the day or any kind of activity. Feels gross laying in my sheets.

Usually done in under 5 minutes, but if I want to relax I’ll go for 10.

I work out in the mornings, shower after. I take hot AF showers, usually lasting about 5-7 min. If I don't work out, I prob wait until tomorrow unless it's summer and I'm sweaty. Sometimes I'll shower w/o soap except pits, feet and groin. Like Fab said, no need to dry your skin out.

Every morning between 4:30 and 6:00 . 20 minutes nice and hot. If I do some physical work I will take another shower that evening before bed.

On Saturday and Sunday I take my normal morning shower and then I will take another shower before bed, if I been working outside.

Every morning unless I'm not leaving the house that day and being lazy. I'd guess for about 10 minutes, give or take, but I don't actually keep track. Could be 5 or 15 for all I know.

I lift weights from 5:30-6:30am at the gym a few minutes away, then run home and shower  for 10 minutes before work. In the evenings I go to a climbing gym 4-5 days per week, but don't usually sweat too much, so I can wait until morning. If I run or play basketball in the evening I might need a shower before bed, depending on the intensity. I usually will just rinse off with cold water and soap for 2-3 minutes if I need that, since I know I'll be more thorough in the AM.

From 3rd grade on I always showered before bedtime.  Switched to morning showers my senior year, realized my hair would look better if i styled it then.

Always preferred longer hot showers, more relaxing to me to lean against the wall and let the water hit my back and shoulders.

My wife's finally convinced to me use lotion on my legs when I wear shorts, though.  Can't have ashy skin and rough heels showing, lol.

I shower daily, sometimes 2 times in the Summer. If I shower at night, I still shower in the morning. I'm usually in there for 10 minutes.

Showers in the morning and very utilitarian. That's when I'll do a quick shave on my legs too. Usually about 15 minutes, I guess.

Almost every night I'll soak in the bathtub. It's huge, you could get probably 3 or 4 people in it. It's so relaxing and eases away the tensions of the day.I always use bubble bath when I'm in the tub too, and I'll lay in there until the water starts going cold.
