But I was surprised how expensive Omaha is - their cheapest filets are over $40 per lb.  I'll give them a shot - which do you recommend?  Thanks

Yes, they are a bit pricey, but worth it to me.  We got 8 10 oz. of the Butcher’s Cut which came to $37 a pound.  We just checked and their prices have gone up since we ordered about 3 weeks ago. We got $16 back through Rakuten.

I know this isn’t the thread but goes with the convo above, I live in basic bitch land and the Starbucks are paaaaacked. There had to be 30 in line this morning when I drove by. Not sure they are even losing any money.

Same. That and Canes are the two I’ve noticed absurdly busy.

Have plenty of freeze beef, concerned about bacon, I'll stock up tomorrow.

Cue my friend mocking that I don't eat bread.

Didn’t we have a thread back in the day about a traveling meat salesman or selling meat out of a van or some shit? I can’t really remember the details.

Grocery stores around me (all 8 of them within a 10 min walk) have been stocked with plenty of meat.

We have two shops that we buying from for years, both have agreed to put aside our regular orders plus we double those orders. Steaks, Burger, Pork, Ribs, Roast, Hot Dogs, Brats, Mild Sauage we should be stocked up good by the end of this week. I'm not a fan of frozen hamburgers but it is what it is for now.

Just went to Costco. They had a ton of beef products and sausage but no packaged chicken. Got 6 pounds of ground beef just in case. Still no fucking toilet paper though...

As long as I'm personally restocked for a month or two in three weeks, all will be well! I mean, for me, which is the only thing that matters.

Sure it will too but stupid people will be being stupid about meat similar to the way they were with tp.

Although you literally can survive without meat, I imagine a meat shortage would cause actual riots.  Would not want to be working at McD's when they run out of Big Mac's....

At certain times they do some deals.

I was skeptical. My wife got it for me as a gift a number of years ago, and then each year thereafter because yeah, they were extremely good.  I was surprised, no doubt about that.

They now send different deals in the mail.  Last one I got I think was for $15 off an order of like 60 or more.

Was able to get a decent amount of meat at Meijer Saturday morning, and they had a decent selection.
