So I hear that the OHSAA is considering moving back fall sports.

No. They literally just released their return to play protocols. Saying August 1st is still the plan to go “live “.

When you have to shut everything down for two weeks with each positive case, how can they go on like normal.

Have a good friend who was just in DC. She said that you can’t go to a restaurant without a reservation, have to wear a mask everywhere, you order food through an app, you even have to order a bathroom trip through the app. Someone comes to your table and asks “who ordered the bathroom trip?” And says you can go now.

And there are some good little comrades who take it.

Whole schools and sports teams will be shut down then.   You could have 2 weeks with no football opponents.

I’m not arguing with you. It’s just what they’ve resorted to doing. It’s abundantly cautious, which isn’t right or wrong. But it does make school and sports near impossible IMO.

Mandatory "practices" start Aug. 1......that doesnt mean season game play can start.  They are discussing modifying start dates for competition.

Correct. They could very well move “competition” date back, but practices as of now seem to be a go still.

I have to admit though, I do enjoy watching my friends argue with each other online about Covid. 

If most states in the country do not have sports all year, it will be interesting to see the impact it has for college recruiting.  I feel bad for all HS athletes, especially the seniors. 

Had a girl come into ER this morning found outside bar overdosed on something. Brought her back to, nurse was about to do rapid Covid test per protocol. Patient said she had already tested positive ten days ago at doctors office. So here she was at the bar while knowingly positive.

Dumbass DeWine just went through half the states counties and listed numbers over a 2 week period of new or active cases.

Your numbers are way off.   The mortality rate starts at about 0.01% for people under 10, and goes up to over 5% for people over 80. 

The average mortality rate is probably closer to 0.5%, so you were only off by factor of about 500.

Best way to do this is just post a Big Lebowski "Shut the fuck up Donnie" pic or gif. Every single time he posts.

My gf's entire fucking family are infected.

Her sister lives in Cancun. Her mom, dad and both grandmas are there. They went on March 1st for a 20 day stay. Still there. Venezuela  is locked down and they can't get a return flight. That alone sucks bad. 

The sister works at Cancun International Airport. JUST went back to work, then brought Corona to the entire fucking household. She tested positive on Monday. All of them are experiencing mild to medium symptoms. I think they are 10-12 days in so far. I'm worried about the grandmothers. One is 75, other 80.

Another day over 1000 deaths....
