My gf's entire fucking family are infected.

Her sister lives in Cancun. Her mom, dad and both grandmas are there. They went on March 1st for a 20 day stay. Still there. Venezuela  is locked down and they can't get a return flight. That alone sucks bad. 

The sister works at Cancun International Airport. JUST went back to work, then brought Corona to the entire fucking household. She tested positive on Monday. All of them are experiencing mild to medium symptoms. I think they are 10-12 days in so far. I'm worried about the grandmothers. One is 75, other 80.

Hope all is well. Sounds like my family back in late April. Both my parents (in 60s), my sister, my wife, 2 of my sons, all had the virus.

My mom and my wife got it the worst. My wife the worst symptoms my mom the longest. Took my mom 3 weeks to get over it/have no symptoms.

They all came through fine, and I hope your GFs family does as well.

Your numbers are way off.   The mortality rate starts at about 0.01% for people under 10, and goes up to over 5% for people over 80. 

The average mortality rate is probably closer to 0.5%, so you were only off by factor of about 500.

Not my numbers their chief......Dewines numbers.  He was listing cases per 100,000.  All the counties he was talking about were between 45 and 120 cases per 100,000.

Let me dumb it up for you....on average if counties had 100 cases per 100,000 that is .001% of the population.

You are a complete dumbass.  First of all, 100/100,000 is 0.1%.  You're off by a factor of 100.

Second of all, reduced restriction results in higher cases, which results in more deaths.  The mortality rate is not the percent of a total population that died, it's the percent of people who die from contracting the virus, which has been around 0.5%.

LOL, let me use an example you might understand.

Getting hit with a dodge ball 100 out of 100,000 times is 0.001 = 0.1%.  If the hits are all to the head, then perhaps you'd forget how to do the maths.

Sounds like her mom is the worst, mostly nonstop, annoying dry cough. The grandmothers seem to just be achy/tired.  One of them had a fever. Dad is fine.

Scary man...especially my gf dealing with it from a distance. I would NOT want to be in Mexico dealing with this right now. 

I think they will start opening flights to leave sometime in September. 

Only .67% of Ohioans have been infected by the virus.  Insane considering nothing was shut down for the first 6-8 weeks this was around

Well...not sure if it's COVID-19 related or just because I had deadbeat ownership, but lost my job this afternoon. Ownership decided to shut the team down (amateur soccer team). It's not public information yet, not sure when it will be. 

Just filed unemployment this evening. Sucks. Been an absolute miserable year.

I get to go back to coaching on Wednesday. Not sure how it was figured but we were released by Highland Co health director. My team only shutdown for 8 days 🤷🏻‍♂️
