I think that study maybe says more about how conservatives, at least young conservatives, have been shamed into hiding that fact.  It's sadly funny that you have the media and celebrities basically bullying conservatives by constantly associating them as racist and sexist.

Which is why I look forward to a day when Libertarians actually matter.  And I've seen more than once Libertarians being associated with Conservatives, or in some cases to the right of Conservatives.  Obviously that is grossly false, but that's the state of liberalism today.

That's because they view them as a potential threat.

The study could indeed be largely influenced by that.  It reminds me of the Jonathan Pie skit that went up right after the 2016 election:

The left is responsible for this result because the left have now decided that any other opinion, any other way of looking at the world is unacceptable. We don’t debate anymore because the left won the cultural war. So, if you’re on the right, you’re a freak, you’re evil, you’re racist, you are stupid, you are a basket of deplorables. How do you think people are going to vote if you talk to them like that? When has anyone been pursued by being insulted or labeled? So now if you’re on the right, or even against the pervading view, you are attacked for raising your opinion. That’s why people wait until they are in the voting booth. Nobody is watching anymore. There’s no blame or shame or anything and you can finally say what you really think and that is a powerful thing.

I hope so.

Of course.  Big gubmit liberals view big gubmit as a path to wealth.  The SJW card doesn't work against Libertarians, UNLESS you convince the dumb masses (haha, just take away the 'm') that they're racist.  Logic and reality doesn't matter to Dems - they are all about emotional manipulation.

Maybe some of the LGBTQ are conservatives or libertarian, you don't know.

Yep. Blaire White is a tranny and she's also a conservative.

This, plus they know those are votes they could have had if the Dems were the Dems of 20+ years ago.  A lot of libertarians or moderate right independents claimed that identity, because they felt the GOP left their values.  The Dems could have found a way to bring them over. Instead they are starting to go all in on ridiculing and shaming them.

The 2016 election is the perfect example.  Out of the blue dems/libs/leftits/hillary/sanders/media started to attack libertarians.

Well, it is our fault that Donald Trump was elected. We deserve the attacks.

So there is a "secret" document floating around about an alleged "decades old" incident with Kavanaugh and a woman.  And Dems have referred this to federal investigators.

What the flying fuck?!?  Perhaps this woman's story is real, but it does beg the question if this a manufactured thing (ala Russia dossier) intended to block Kavanaugh's confirmation.

If it's true, he absolutely should not be confirmed.  But an accusation, especially one "decades old", shouldn't stop or delay anything.  But I really don't understand why this is something for the FBI/DOJ when it seems it would be a local police matter, or perhaps something for civil court.

It's really quite surprising that Libertarians are not the party of the plurality (much less barely registering on the radar).  I think, and many people would probably agree, most of the country shares the social and fiscal values of Libertarians (Gary Johnson said as much).

But the sad fact is most of the country really doesn't seem to care about politics.  And many who do are dug into whichever side they cheer for.  It doesn't help that Libertarians don't send out good candidates, but they can't seem to raise money or get coverage.

Maybe that's the real issue - the political media duopoly, and the bullshit rules that keep 3rd parties off the debate stage and off the ballots.  We argue about throwing away your vote, but the mega donors aren't going to throw away their money on the Libertarian party.  Heck, Koch once ran as a Libertarian, but they tend only to back Repubs who can win.

Your last point reminds me of a me of an annoying mark against libertarians that liberal progressives like to throw out. They like to claim that we want to let corporations run amok, do whatever they want, with no accountability. If that were the case, it would be in the best interest of corporations to get libertarians elected to office, yet here we are.

Wait ... weren't you and I arguing about this not two weeks ago?

I agree with your sentiment here, to be sure.

Isn't that funny?  Libertarians are "for the wealthy."  And yet that's not where the billion- and now trillion- dollar companies are putting their money.  They're putting their money behind Republicans and Democrats.

Feinstein is a tard. Funny how her having a Chinese spy for 20 years as her driver didn’t get that much media attention

I don’t care how u feel about the issue. Showing up to a 7-12 school with pictures of aborted fetuses is wrong. I’m all for freedom of speech but this was rediculous. And they were wearing body cams so they could sue our school if we infringed on their rights. I don’t care what literature u pass out to adults but middle schoolers should not see this without a parent.

I'm absolutely not a fan of using abortion as birth control. But I totally agree with you on this issue. Leave kids out of it.
I'm hoping that parents complained.

Was these pictures directly on school property? It looks like it is. If so, they would have had permission to do that. I would hope that they had to get a permit whether it was or not, who made this decision?

I took the pic but that sidewalk is public property they have the right to do that. They are totally protected by the constitution. Also no complaints

Liberals have no problem with all kinds of things being taught in schools but the reality of baby murder is too much?
