Can't say I was ever much of a Beto fan, until the details of his old DUI came out today.

I mean, crashing into a truck, flying across the median into oncoming traffic, and trying to flee the scene whilst blowing a .136 is pretty badass.

So apparently NBC has been threatening Ronan Farrow (guy who broke the Harvey Weinstein story). NBC is denying it, of course.

I've used two political opposite outlets as links. Both of them are citing The Daily Beast, so I'm skeptical. Or rather, I'm not sure what to believe. I think this very easily could happen, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how (or if) this plays out.

That sounds like it's actually re-hashing an old story.  I remember NBC either trying to kill the story, or not approve it (take away resources, etc).

Weinstein had a lot of influence, and probably dirt on a bunch of people.  My guess is NBC big shots were running scared of that story.

I don't get this move from a business standpoint. Who is going to start buying Nike bc of it vs who won't buy now bc of it?  I doubt many people either way, so then you're just glorifying a moron (Che Guerroro shit, cops as pigs socks, kneeling for an "epidemic" that doesn't exist)

Reports also say he has been getting paid by Nike this whole time, which proves my point (and many others) from the beginning that Kaep never wanted to work in the NFL again.  He can make much more money from this than he could as a backup QB, plus he doesn't have to worry about doing any damage to his brain.

I LOL at anyone who actually thinks Kaep made a sacrifice.  The dude was benched before he started this shit.  If he legitimately cared, he would have made a stand when he was doing well.  Perhaps during the SB run?  I guess fighting against "oppression" of blacks is only worth the team distraction if your team sucks ass and your career is falling apart.

I actually loved the ad.  I don't think it's particularly accurate in depicting his circumstances, but I think it will appeal well to the masses.

I've never cared for the brand personally, and I'm not even sure I have any clothing from them, but I could see this being a win overall.

At the very least, reading about randoms burning shit they already purchased while whining online always is good for a laugh.

The Kavanaugh hearings became a circus from the beginning. Kamala Harris trying to get set up to run for President, she's unsufferable and always interrupts hearings. Just vote on it now instead of this bullshit circus that will end with him being confirmed anyway.

Add Blumenthal and Booker to the list of idiots.

Nike:  when you don’t do common sense you do stupid liberal charades.  They are being broiled right now, deservedly so.

Is it possible that he didn't start protesting yet because there had not yet been a series of questionable killings of unarmed black people that garnered widespread media attention???

What are conservatives going to do as these big business libs in liberal cities keep determining that librul charades are in the best long term interest of their shareholders?
