How stupid are people? Throwing away Nike shoes because they have Kaep on an anniversary ad?
...and to your post, I've been an Asics shoe guy for a long time, so this doesn't affect me there...that being said, I sure wouldn't throw anything Nike related away, but it certainly doesn't make me want to go out and buy anything Nike either.
I've always heard that destroying things you've already spent money on is a great way to teach a company a lesson. Very smart.
Why do people care about this guy? He's nothing but the Al Bundy of this generation - used to play football, now he sells shoes.
Stupid. Fortunately I don't like Nike (or Crapernick...he's had that nickname because of his shitty play on the field, not his political beliefs) so this isn't an issue but destroying something that is likely very expensive is dumb.

Their media impact today was supposedly like $50M worth. They're laughing all the way to the bank, stock price being down 2% doesn't matter. I think Kaepernick is a dipshit and sacrificed nothing, but kudos to Nike for playing it this way.
