I almost can't stand getting on Facebook or Twitter any more.  Justin nailed it, it's completely exhausting.

America is the only country in the world where the freedom of speech gets you crucified by the freedom of speech.  People just need to STFU and mind their own business, regardless of what they believe.  We've put so much energy into being divided, imagine what we could do if we put that into standing united.  Mercy...

This, and the media and our politicians make it worse. 

Would anyone be shocked if this plays a large role in the suicide rate (not to mention people going off the deep end and killing others) in this country?

With the sad part being that if all the triggered folk actually cared about vets as much as they claim when blasting the anthem-kneelers, there are programs out there where they could simply donate their unwanted apparel to homeless/needy vets. But, no, it's apparently more satisfying to do their best impersonation of those left-wing college students they regularly mock whenever they act out like this.
