Playoffs are still going on but figured I'd start a thread for non-playoff related offseason news.

Washington released photos of their new stadium and it's honestly pretty sweet.

Great move for the Giants….no more being a bottom 5 team every year

Now their main problem will be keeping Dart from getting 5 concussions a year.

Was always a pipedream, but was hoping the childhood fandom would be enough for Browns.

Wow.  BUF might be the one place Tomlin would go.  No idea why they'd want him, since McDermott embarassed him 5 out of the last 6 times they played.

But clearly this was shaping up to be BUF year.  Josh Allen just always seems to come up 1 play short in the playoffs.  Not all his fault, but some of it (especially the earlier years).

A little off topic but I’ve read Ohio State is waiting out the playoffs and NFL Firings and Hirings and will bring in an NFL guy as OC.

NFL administrators glad tomorrow's games didn't work out to be  Buffalo at NE and  Carolina at Philly!

McCarthy to the Steelers looks imminent. Would not have been upset with him in New York, how do Steelers fans feel about him?

One word to describe:

Lazy

From the area, won a Super Bowl when Aaron Rodgers was a young QB.

He’s just a glorified retread. I can’t see him last more than 3 years or making them even as good as they were. Feels like a 9-10 win team turn into a 6-8 win team

I can see Steelers fans feeling different than me, for sure. I'm used to the worse run organization in football.

Reaction on twitter looks...negative.

Those types might get the Jets to that 6-8 win number …but most would have no desire other than a pretty decent situation. The Jets and Steelers might look very similar next year.

I look at it as a hire that will even get Gut feeling nostalgic for the days of Tomlin.

Yeah, McCarthy is another lazy coach like Tomlin.

He's been a better playoff coach, despite some epic blown Q4 leads in the playoffs or Rodgers might have another ring or two.

If the offense is at least watchable, I'll take it.

Seems like a bridge hire, last on the list of coaches I'd want.

But it's par for the course for Pittsburgh. Will he bring Rodgers back?

I really wanted to see SWEEPING changes, top to bottom, offensive philopshy, etc.

I am...undewhelmed.

Shedeur making the pro bowl should tell you how much of a waste this game is. But the NFL will never do away with it because no matter how many alternates and backups they have to resort to, losers will still watch it.

Just saw a clip from McCarthy's press conference and he looks ... horrible. Like if I poked him with a stick he might explode.

Bill Belichick not a first ballot Hall of Famer. Gotta be one of the all-time HOF snubs.

Jets fire their OC, now strongly linked to Frank Reich to be the new OC. Who will replace Glenn as the interim HC sometime next season. I hope the rumors are true.
