Currently situation is not good at all. I think rain and ice just finished but now it’s cold and windy. Trees and limbs are going down literally every few seconds.

My backyard has 5-6 big limbs down and we don’t even have a tree. Luckily none have hit the house so far and only one has taken out a single piece of the fence.

My neighbor is a single lady who just had a baby on Christmas Day. There is a big limb aiming right to where her bedroom is. Worried for her and the baby.

Just finished clearing the driveway.  Took me well over an hour and my tractor has a front end loader.  Snowmobilers going by on the road out in the front of my property.  We are on a hill and can see I77 from the end of the driveway.  Little to no traffic.  Something calming about snow falling and clearing the driveway at dusk with the lights on.

The county still hasn't plowed my road. Not once. If something should happen to anybody on my ridge there is no way for help to reach them.

So the snow keeps piling up, making things that much more difficult for when the county does decide to come around smh

Our county has hit every county road 2x today and our city streets have had 2 passes with the blade down and 2 passes for salt

Got about 15" total at my house. When it was about 12" I was out shoveling.

Took the 4wd truck out in it after that last night and delivered some food to my one son as they were definitely stuck in (2 rear wheel drive cars and his road had not even been touched).

Agree that this will drive the sales of 4wd cars/trucks across many states as many people are going to say what geeblock just said after this "My next car will be 4wd".

I had no issues in my truck last night, and the roads had anywhere from clean/slush to a full 12" still on them.

Working from home today.

My uncle lives just south (I think) of Nashville. They are out of power since last night and huddling in blankets (my uncle, my aunt, their one son/dauther in law and grand daughter all huddled in blankets.  The son/dauther in law live next door so they all decided to hunker down together yesteraday.

They are doing "ok" but not in a good spot either right now.

I'm not sure where you live, but do you live on flat lands?

The county finally went down my road. They only plowed, no salt or cinders. So now there's ice. Guess who has to call off now 🤷‍♀️

No, southern Ohio is quite hilly….that old glacier back in time stopped about 50 miles short of where I live in Jacksin

We went and got a hotel. Even with the fireplace it was getting cold. I think there are still 163k without power in Nashville.

My neighbor with the newborn was leaving at the same time we were. I did end up finding a funny bar with power last night to watch the games and grab a meal and drinks

It snowed a lot more today (Monday) than I was expecting - at least in Cleveland.  This cold can beat on your soul a little bit.

I got around 16 inches, total. My neighbor with the bobcat plowed my driveway today so I could get out. Sure beats me and my brothers doing it back in the days lol!

Went to the house tonight to check before going back to the hotel. Glad I did. Despite having everything dripping our shower seems like it had froze. I turned off the main water supply and drained everything so hopefully that will save some of the headache.
