Oregon scores 8 points in last 2 seconds of the half……then on 3rd and 22 OSU allows a 21 yard reception in terrible zone coverage
OSU goes 3 and out
Color me shocked….let’s find a way to drag this until the end

Boat race.....they continue to play with this fire in their ass and they might win it all.

posted by Ironman92I didn’t really want targeting called there….but why wasn’t it called? The receiver being knocked out kept him from getting up and that clock either running another 25 seconds or forcing a timeout
Might have been the worst non call ever. Dude got blasted. Never want to see another targeting call ever because if that wasn't it, it does not exist

Insane how good he is as a true freshman. He’d arguably be the best wr in the draft if he could come out.

It just feels very shady….nothing saying ASU would’ve won it or lost it there, but that’s how the game should’ve played out.

Saw an interview with Day a few months back that asked if he ever thought about redshirting Smith….his answer….
“He’s the best WR in college, people just don’t know it yet. We will have him for 3 years only before he leaves for the draft. If I redshirted we would only have him on the field for 2 years instead of 3. From day 1 in practice we knew he wouldn’t be redshirted.”
Jalen Milroe announces he's going into the draft just two days after showing every potential NFL talent evaluator that he's an utter liability in poor weather conditions.

But to make up for it he stares down the #1 option on each play
After both having one possession, both ND and GA look inept!
Georgia had...issues to end the first half. Whoops!
Georgia is awful….not buying ND
Georgia has to play at home in championship game though, some big stuff needs to happen
All 4 bye teams lost. Ouch. And really only 1 of the 4 was close.

And even that is debatable. ND was better up and down the field yesterday.

Might have been talking about ASU-Texas.

I mean everyone is piling on the “had 3 weeks off wagon”…..Georgia had a QB making his first ever start. That’s kinda big too. I’m happy as hell they lost but they’ve not been very good a lot this year….just kept getting by. Outscored in the 1st qtr for the season. 9 of 13 crappy first half in those games…..with their 24-3 QB. That line was tight for this game….guessing because of the QB situation for as much as the extra week off.
Yeah, I think the "bye = loss" take is a bit misleading.
Of the four bye teams, they all were underdogs entering their game. You had Georgia with a new QB, Oregon playing an OSU team that was #1 at the beginning of the year and looked to be starting to play like it, Boise as a small-conference team and Arizona State as a conference champ from a league that wasn't considered by anyone to be on the level of the Big 10 or SEC.
Sure, a person could say that having that extra week off made those teams rusty AND with things like Arizona State starting slowly and then playing great in the fourth AND Oregon getting buried early on, there might be something to that. But a person could also say that the teams picked to win were the ones who won and it's hard to single out one thing like a bye week for the losers as the key factor in what happened.

I feel Penn St is marginally better anyways…we shall see
Penn St 27
ND 20
PSU and ND are both basically the same team to me. coin flip
i think the winner gets killed in the championship by the OSU/Tex winner
ND secondary is the best in the country, imo. They can hang/beat Texas because of that. Not sure they are within 14 vs OSU though.
As for the flu, mostly ST and backups I guess. Love already had it, so presumably most of the offense did as well (he got it pre IU game).
I go ND 31 - 17 PSU & OSU 27 - 16 Texas
PSU has the ball on the 24 yd line and they call a 15 yd pass interference penalty on ND and spot the ball on the 9 yd line. Shouldn't that be half the distance and a 1st down on the 12 yd line?
