ACC having a historically horrible postseason. To the level of hilarity.

They are very good at finding a way to lose
posted by friendfromlowryThis is an unpopular take and I’m not even sure I believe it because there’s good reason onside kickers are so hard to recover. But they’re so hard to recover that it’s pointless. “Oh we’re down 10 we need to score quickly so we can try that kick that has a 3% chance of working. I can’t wait to watch.”
Like I said, I don’t necessarily think it needs changed. But let’s talk it out.
Isn't there a league that has a weird alternative to the onside kick? Like they get the ball 4th and 15 on their own 20 or something like that?
Hell of a brawl to end the East Carolina/NC State game. Ref bloodied and everything. Eight guys ejected, although from the numbers named for each team, it looked like the two who started everything weren't among them.

Maybe the XFL? They had some dumb gimmicks like that.
Iowa QB snapped the ball with 1:11 left in the half. He scrambled for 14 seconds and got smoked on the 1 foot line.
Lol crazy play

It was the new USFL.
Jalen Milroe will never be drafted by the Jags or Dolphins after that rainy performance
Insane. He literally stared at every Wr he threw to, never checked down at all.
Bama playing on ice skates and Michigan just playing in the rain
I suspect a comeback but holy hell
I think all the people who refer to QBs like Lamar Jackson as "running backs" because they are good at making plays with their feet and aren't always on point as passers need to study that Orgy dude on Michigan to see what a "real" running back at QB looks like.
Dude can't pass to save his life and, unless Warren can get back into the game, Michigan is toast because he is pure trash unless he can run every single time he touches the ball.

They aren’t toast because Bama isn’t good on offense and still trailing. If Bama makes one more mistake on offense….they lose
Looks like Steelers all over….both teams lol

True, after typing this, I watched Milroe look like dogshit trying to move the ball. While the announcers were talking about how he'll decide if he's staying or going pro after this game. Not sure what his pro prospects are right now. I haven't paid a ton of attention to Alabama this year, but in the games I've seen, it feels like he's regressed a bit from what he was doing last year to where he's still a good QB, but doesn't have the same vibe to him I remember seeing last year.

He’s a stud athlete but awful awful on staring down receivers and checking down. He’s a year behind Anthony Richardson IMO, better in a dome as well. Doesn’t feel what the defense is doing very well. I think right now he’d be a disaster him the NFL
I'd be surprised if he was eager to join the NFL. As mediocre as he looks, I’m sure he makes a killing financially at Alabama. Much more than a 5th round pick makes in the NFL or whatever he’d be.
Confession: I didn’t watch any of that game except the final couple minutes and I feel like I dodged a bullet.
Man, Finebaum and Herbie gonna have a TOUGH time finding a way to spin this after spending however much time blasting Indiana and SMU getting in instead of teams like Alabama that had bad losses, but "beat someone".

Throughout most of the game, I was working out, eating, shaving/showering and doing laundry. Basically, from what I gleaned, Michigan dominated the early part while the weather sucked and did very little after that. Alabama just sucked on offense. And then I sat down for the fourth quarter and wished I still had other stuff to do instead because that game made random Tuesday evening #MACtion look like super-elite championship-level football.
Martindale and his defensive unit 1000% won the game
Michigan was SMARTER
Bama had ball on 15 on 1st down…..with time left gotta sneak Milroe but the passes out of bounds were big all day. Bama literally had 1 good play the entire game versus the pressure (a late screen)
Bama coach didn’t even consider the fucking weather on a grass field in Florida…that’s inexcusable to me
The smarter sideline won today
Ok…make sure watch the postgame handshake between Bret Bielema and Shane Beamer….it will be ugly. Beemer keeps subbing on offense late and Bielema is doing it back forcing needless timeouts. Bielema just went over near South Carolina sideline and checked on his injured player…..then looked right at Beamer and heckled him with the substitution hand signal the refs make. Beamer came unglued and charged the field. Very next play, Beemer had to use another timeout for same thing

alabama turning the ball over 3 times in 4 plays also may have had something to do with it. those three turnovers resulted in 16 points.

I’m aware…but the interception in that driving rain was impressive considering Bama couldn’t even stand up
Michigan’s defense held onto that win
NIL has brought the SEC back to the pack
