randomly last night i started watching the office on netflix again. I got about 5 episodes into it and i realized that NONE of the jokes from the first season would be allowed on TV now. People would white knight the shit out of those jokes and Steve Carell would be ruined.

Oh 100% it wouldn't survive now.
Half of the "that's what she said" would be labeled as "toxic masculinity". The episode on diversity where he has everyone where a "race" on their forehead would get the whole show shit canned.

S4 of Lucifer on Netflix. Such a fun, guilty pleasure. Sort of like Ballers meets Hawaii Five-O.

S5 finished up on BBC America last night. It was a good 4 episodes.
I'm halfway through Dark and it is awesome. The end of episode 4 had a great twist.

Yeah, that one was pretty good...if disturbing is their goal (and it is) then it was pretty good.

Started watching King of Hill. I watched it here and there back in the day, but this is my first time going start to finish. Forgot how funny this show is.

I've been watching a lot of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown recently. What a great food/ travel show.
I'm a sucker for usually dark noir style shows and have been slowly making my way through the Amazon Too Old To Die Young. I'm 7 of 10 in. It is from the guy who directed Drive, Nicolas Widing Refn. It stars Miles Teller as a corrupt LA Cop who goes deeper into the LA underworld. But, man it is sloooow. 10 episodes, each about 1 hour and 16 minutes with several at 90 minutes. It is a lot of panning, slow shots for a few minutes with little dialogue. The dialogue is slow as well.
But, it is looks really cool and is pretty in your face with its violence and underworld vibes. It is a tough watch, but has its moments.

I'm currently watching the reboot of HBO's "From the Earth to the Moon." HBO is phenomenal.

Watched season 1 of Stranger Things last night. I liked it! Was more of a sci-fi than supernatural than I usually watch but still interesting. Might watch S2 later this year after summer and football season.

Just noticed season 13 of It's Always Sunny is on Hulu so watching episode 1. Great start so far. Make Paddy's Great Again. Mindy Kaling. Mac is super ripped and ordered a Dennis sex doll. All in the first 5 minutes.

That season was great. And that episode was an all timer. And I really thought Dennis was off the show...

Then you will like seasons 2 and 3, unfortunately for me (sci-fi geek) they go away from the "sciency" stuff and more toward the supernatural/suspense/scarry route in the last 2 seasons.

I got bored with it halfway thru Season 2. S1 was good.
I liked Travelers. Bitter-sweet in that it had a conclusion (more accurately, a stopping point), but didn't finish the story before being canceled.
