This seems to be a pretty controversial topic. What say you?

I'm very anti-catsup on hot dogs. On a regular hot dog, I'll add mustard, relish, and chopped onion if available.

Around here, you can get physically hurt for even asking for ketchup.

Yep. Chicago dogs are serious business. And delicious as hell.

I have used mustard and ketchup (catsup) but usually go with just mustard.  If I get a hot dog out, like at Senate in Cinci......no ketchup.

Not for me, but don't quite understand the "purists" who don't think others should.

I’ve eaten them with ketchup but prefer mustard and needs onions.

I don't really do ketchup on anything except maybe the more bland forms of restaurant fries. Mustard, onion and maybe a bit of hot sauce for me.

Ketchup and mustard. If it has coney/chili sauce on it, then it gets cheese, onions and hot sauce.

Absolutely. I much prefer a coney with cheese or something similar. But if those aren’t options (like at a family cookout), ketchup makes its way on along with the other condiments.

Ketchup for me.

I think Heinz or someone did a blind taste test in Chicago a few years ago, calling their ketchup "special dog sauce" and people loved it.  Although I'm not sure how people wouldn't know it's ketchup.

The snobbery about ketchup on a hot dog - something that is, technically, about the worst processed meat on the planet - has always amused me.  But I guess there is a scientific argument that a Chicago-style dog hits a similar, more mild, taste profile as ketchup but with wholly natural ingredients.

He finished with 75 hot dogs in 10 min.

How many could you do? I’d say with zero “training” I would be DONE at 3

My contest food would be thin mint cookies or Donatos pizza

10 minutes? I could do 5-10, probably. And feel like absolute shit for the next 24 hours.
