All Jr. High and High School student must participate in two school extracurricular activities each year
Beginning in Jr. High being cut from a team is the start of real life experence .. deal with it
Terrible 2nd take. You would never get to the 1st one (which is good) by cutting kids in middle school. I don't believe in cutting kids at the interscholastic level. With the obesity issue in the states, no way. A life of activity is what needs to be reinforced continually. Too many kids are cut too early and we have the issues we have in sports -- declining numbers.

Worked there for a period of time before taking a new job in Columbus. I found it to be cliquish and not welcoming to people not born there.
Know alot of folks here that are from Cincinnati and they think it is that and a bag of chips.
Just don;t feel it.
Just relocated to Cincinnati in March 2017. I have found the exact opposite. We've been welcomed more than anywhere we ever lived before (South Dakota was decent, northwest Ohio was terrible, Kansas was terrible).
That said, controversial opinion of mine is on ramps are for getting up to speed of traffic flow AND off ramps are for slowing down to where you need to navigate the road ahead. The right lane (if that's where the merge lane begins) is not for speeding up on a merge on OR slowing down on a merge off. This seems to be a controversial opinion in NKY/Cincinnati.
