What are everyone’s thoughts going into the year? Do the Buckeyes have a good shot at a repeat? Will Ryan Day break the UM curse? How will Belichik do in his first year at UNC? Will Arch Manning be the Second Coming? Will James Franklin get over the hump? Will anything come from the UM cheating investigation? Will Lincoln Riley start earning his pay at USC?

Yes. Yes. Does average, retires after one season, girlfriend is annoying. Leads Texas to final four. No. No. Sure.

Jeremiah Smith is Heisman.

Texas over OSU for national championship in shootout.

Deion and health staff holding a press conference tomorrow. A lot of speculation he’ll be stepping down or away due to worsening health concerns.

I don’t need Deion to coach football but I do need Deion to be healthy and ok

I always felt Sayin would step in and immediately be good but rumors sound like he is struggling

I expect him to be named starter by mid August.

Day does need to best Mich or make another deep run in the playoff.

The SEC and Big 12 will be the fun conferences this season to watch. The SEC will have some fun qbs to watch, like Florida's, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and maybe Texas if Arch is the real deal.

The Big 12 is wide open, but AZU should be fun to watch and the entire league is up for grabs.

I wonder who will be the Indiana this year, the surprise team out of no where. Illinois is getting a lot of buzz, Nebraska too. Texas Tech could be one too with how much they spent on NIL.

Penn st has to to either win the big ten or make a deep run in the playoff. If not, the heat is on for Franklin.

Yes. Indeed. For three glorious hours (give or take), I WILL care about Iowa State and Kansas State. I mean, actually care -- not the usual, "Well, I do like background noise when doing stuff and these two teams are background noise", but actually paying attention and just being happy to be watching a real football game and not a bunch of guys fighting it out to be third-stringers.

“Fighting it out”…………like the QB’s dad and brother getting into a rumble amongst themselves outside the stad…geez

I saw a funny meme, “Hey this may fly in Kansas or Iowa, but there’s no place for drunken fistacuffs in Ireland.”

I say as a proud Irishman.

YouTube TV dropped a bombshell last night they’re in a contract standoff with Fox and had until today to get a deal worked out, or else risk loss of programming. This of course is right before Texas - OSU on Fox on Saturday.

Isn’t it cute how this stuff always reaches this point the week of college football? No one would give a shit if they lost Fox Sports back in the middle of July.

Spectrum and Disney/ESPN did the exact same thing in 2023 right before that first Thursday night kickoff between Florida and Utah.

This stuff is ruining the sport - big noon kickoff, disputes. They’re turning it into a poorly run minor league. NFL does professional football much better so going down this road is insanity. College basketball should be a cautionary tale.

This will not spill into NFL. It may spill into Saturday, but I even doubt that.

Vseebox for the win. I run it on a VPN and can get every game in every sport all the time.

I switched back in 2006? To Dish as cable was dropping the National Championship game or something….but it was OSU

I’m in NYC for the Oasis concert this weekend. Went to the closet sports bar to my hotel and it turned out to be an Ohio State bar

Went to Costco this morning in South Carolina, as we do every week, and I saw more people wearing OSU gear than SC and Clemson combined (granted sc plays tomorrow).

O-H!

The Corso pick was nice. Does anyone actually like Desmond on Gameday?

As predictable as Lou Holtz picking.

Corso’s finale was done well. They sent him out in style.

Pitt….decent, probably a meh bowl game at best. QB happy feet and can’t find check downs. OC predictable.

I’ll rank them at #41 to start the season
