It’s ridiculous players are entering the transfer portal when their team is still playing for national championship contention.

It is. Also ridiculous the 4 teams left have to recruit and host visits from the portal for next year.

Although, based on Indianas haul yestreday, maybe its a good time to host guys LOL.

Hey, nice job AI search assist.  This was really too easy of one to get wrong

"There are no college football games today, January 8, 2026, as the schedule resumes with the College Football Playoff semifinal games on January 9. The next games will feature Ole Miss against Miami in the Fiesta Bowl and Indiana against Oregon in the Peach Bowl"

Looking forward to the game tonight. REALLY looking forward to the game tomorrow night. It's a high probability that the next Jets QB is playing in it.

In other words, bet on Mendoza to throw it in order to lower his draft stock a bit?

I feel bad for both of them, to be honest.

One goes to the Raiders, one goes to the Jets. They both die a little inside, but at least they'll be rich.

Ole miss kicker is 1 for 2 on FGs off the left upright.  I predict if he has a high pressure FG later in this game that he'll overcorrect and miss wide right.

Want to see Ole Miss win so we can see how awkward Kiffin is about it. And I’m sick of Michael Irvin being a coked out dickhead on the sidelines

Lane gets paid big for each of these wins. I think this win is worth $500,000 to him

Dropping 4 interceptions is just crazy…crazy. Jumped pass after pass and never once caught it.

First playoff win was 500 last night would have been 750k and 1 Million if they won it all. How stupid is college football right now. Of the 4 teams left before yesterday 51/88 starters were from the transfer portal.

Also if you’re a fan of Washington how do you even want to cheer for the team. QB signs a contract to stay. Then enters the portal to go to LSU. Washington has to block him from entering the portal, his agent dumps him, and he goes back to Washington.

Also how does the Arizona State QB feel who was visiting LSU and sitting courtside with Kiffin thinking he was going to be the new QB when it’s announced the Washington QB is going to LSU.

Something has to change there has to be a middle ground between before and now. We have everyone in the portal each year while teams are still playing, players breaking contracts, and coaches leaving before the playoffs. There is obviously tampering going on but no enforcement.

I was trying to wrap my head around abandoning a team in the playoffs because you have to go recruit and deal with transfers.  And you have a frickin' KICKER they give a free advertisement for saying "I'm having fun in college....show me the NIL!!!!!!"

And these cases of kids transferring 2-3X is ridiculous.  Give them a free one, and then it's old school you have to sit out for a year.

This is kinda where I am at. You get ONE transfer without having to sit, so you better make it count.

Cignetti is a psychopath and I mean that in the most positive and complimentary way possible. Miami is fucked.

I don't think the Jets will be drafting Moore at #2 after this showing.

Agreed on Miami. IU is clearly the best team this year. I still can’t believe ever typed those words. No offense, but I’m 55 years old and Indiana has been a joke my entire life. They are incredible now.

Portal.

I mean, on one hand it's really kind of cool.  On the other it's an absolute abomination.

I’m with you guys. Before this year I still loved CFB and wasn’t as turned off as others. But it’s gotten ridiculous. And it’s hard to keep up with where everyone is going. At least with the pros there are multi year contracts. These guys can go wherever each offseason.

I’m not counting out Miami just yet. Indiana looks perfect…but he’s not going to have that much time against Miami and in Miami.

Indiana probably an 8.5 point favorite…but it’s a different game
