That was a rough first half. Tge long layoff did seem to make them appear out of sync. But I thought the game was lost due to Miami dominating the line of scrimmage when we were on offense.

I think Oregon is the better team, but this is now 6 straight playoff losses for a team coming off a bye.  Used to see similar in the NFL, and those teams were only coming back from 1 week off instead of 1 month.

Hopefully IU demolishes Bama.

And that's one reason it needs to be 16 teams. No byes. And also get rid of the bullshit where the 5-8 teams start out with a home game but the 1-4 teams start off at neutral sites. I don't think there is worst leadership anywhere in the world than in college sports. Every single time they have to make any changes, it comes off as comically half-assed or, in the case of the playoffs, basically stalled out because the Big 10 and SEC have different ideas and, apparently, Charlie Baker or whoever the fuck is the Figurehead In Charge is a non-entity who can't step in and say this is how it is.

I feel we’ve seen enough to make it 16…or go back to 8

I think it should be 8.  16 teams is just too many, and yet another game is pretty brutal for all the guys who'll never sniff the NFL.

Maybe 6 automatic bids to conference champions and 2 wild cards.  You lose your conference championship you should be out.  We definitely don't need 3rd and 4th place teams from the B1G and SEC going to the playoffs.

I signed up for a free trial of YouTubeTV so I can watch the Rose Bowl. The trials runs out on Jan 22 so I'll get through the Natty before I need to cancel.

I would like the 8 best teams

1 vs 16

2 vs 15

3 vs 14

4 vs 13

At the home team’s site…likely a couple of uncompetitive games and a couple of ok games

Well…Gunner Stockton is tough.

On that long play down to the one….I thought maybe he would die from that hit he took.

Then to get up, run down field and sneak it in on next play?

No clue how he was not concussed…or how he even got up.

That was one of the 3 hardest hits I’ve ever seen

Tied up…Ole Miss chance to win

I’ll guess a fumble recovery by Georgia for the miracle win

Ole Miss needs their bye now to try to  recover a bit from all that violence..   Seven  days until the next game for them, while the other 3 teams get 8 days.

It was nice for there to be one good game yesterday. After two lopsided ones, that Miss-Georgia game was good for the soul.

It was not nice for the refs to think the game was so good that they didn't want it to end, causing it to last about 10 more minutes with two different "it's over, just kidding it's not" moments.

However, Georgia's last gasp collection of laterals and shit was kind of hilarious, so there was that!

That ending was absurd, but the game was great.

I cant blame the refs for that ending. There was a second left...you have to give the team a chance (if it was 9+ points, yeah... absurd and just end it). And in fact, Ole Miss screwed up so bad, Georgia DID get an extra chance. So yeah, no issues with the refs forcing that to play out that way. I wouldve died if Georgia had pulled off a miracle.

Just touch the ball and make sure if they recover it…then form into your defense like they did on the final play

It’s ridiculous players are entering the transfer portal when their team is still playing for national championship contention.
