Started watching Alone on Netflix last night. I'm hooked.

 

Finally finished this. It got really depressing towards the end. And I'm surprised more people didn't burn their shelters to the ground. 

Just watched 4 episodes of Dark to get through season 2. This is getting close to being my favorite series of all time. 

I’m a couple episodes into the final season (6b) of Sopranos. I really like the show. It’s not an all time favorite for me, but it’s a really good show. Especially when you consider it’s time frame.

Two episodes into season 3 of Dark. I plan to watch 2 episodes a night and finish on Thursday.

Check out 12 Monkeys.  Dark wins for me, but 12 Monkeys is good.

Finished The Deuce earlier this evening. I thought it was really good.

Gonna rewatch Kingdom next.

I really really like 12 Monkeys, but I just never finished it, stopped mid season 3. I need to pick back up and finish it now.

My wife really liked that show, will have to let her know a second season is coming.

I am also watching the Sopranos. I just finished Season 4. I can see how it is one of the all time great shows. I know the ending sucks, but I am along for the ride. Tony Soprano is right up there with Walter White and Don Draper as a great flawed main character. I can see elements of the show that later epics like Breaking Bad and Mad Men used.

Actually today after reflecting on it, I’m better with the ending than last night  probably not how I would have done it  but I get why Chase did what he did.

It grows on you. In about 2 decades, you may actually like it lol.

Did you read where Chase recently said what happened? I dont want to post, since apparently I may spoil it for others. But, Is check out that interview (after years of dodging the question)

When it happened I thought I lost power and when i realized i didn’t I was pissed that’s how it ended lol  but you think back to things he and Bobby talked about it made sense it would happen like that

Everyone did.  The ending really grew on me.  I don't get why Chase was so reluctant to give what he thought the ending was - great writing has multiple interpretations and people can legitimately see something different than what the creator thought he showed.  The 12 Monkeys creators have done this and talked about how they had heated arguments and have completely different takes on how it ended.  And IMO that only adds to the show.
