After the NFL season is over I am getting rid of cable and researching the diff options.  There really are zero shows that I watch that are in current production.   The Disney plus with Hulu and ESPN looks promising and inexpensive.

Tried to get spectrum to lower their price but after many transfers just was not happening.

I have Spotify premium which, for some reason, includes free Hulu (the ad supported version).  Not a bad deal, at all, for $10 a month.

I think he acted it out, but he speaks too clearly to be speaking while acting.

That makes sense.  I haven't noticed it with other actors.  I wonder if he actually delivers the line so his co-actors can get their cues, and then they remove his voice digitally and re-record it in a studio.

There's a rumor or screengrab of him without his helmet.  Without risking a spoiler, I think we can all guess at what will probably be the most predictable "how to" in cinema.  OK, I'll just say it, anyway - Baby Yoda is going to choke you out if you don't remove the helmet.

Interesting.  I dont know much about hulu and will look more into this in January.  I just cannot justify paying what I do when in reality the ONLY thing I make sure i watch each week is the NFL.

With nothing on TV on Christmas evening I saw the iheartradio Christmas concert/show and tuned to it twice.

It is what I imagine watching an abortion would be like.

Man, was it AWFUL.

Love that show. Somehow hasn’t gotten stale after all these seasons.

Currently watching Jack Ryan S2 and I feel like it has a lot of plot holes. The pacing is very weird, sometimes rushed and sometimes dragging on way too much. I still enjoy it, though.

Recently finished Handmaid's Tale (to date); it's slow but has exciting episodes frequently enough that it keeps me going.

Finished Miss Maisel S2 last night. Season 1 really wasn't for me, but Abe and Susie both have incredible comedic chops through the first 6-7 episodes of S2.

Not sure what to binge when we finish Maisel and Jack Ryan, probably by next weekend.

HDMI cable from your computer to your TV.  Done.

And if for some reason you don't have a computer, I believe it can be done some phones and tablets, also, but not sure what adapters and cables you need.

Yeah, and they are (imo) better than a smart TV. You can’t move a TV easily, but can carry your roku anywhere in house/vacation/travel etc and get your services.

I'm back to working my way through the episodes of MST3K again. Since it was a TV show and I'm watching it on my TV (through YouTube), I say it counts!

A few days ago, got to where Mike replaces Joel as the main guy. And last night, came to a realization that this show is a big part of the reason I enjoy watching micro-budget shitty horror films WAY more than a person should. I'll be watching those and having an internal monologue going on that really resembles what Joel/Mike and the Bots are saying out loud during their films. I was watching the Teenage Strangler episode where that movie was made in Huntington, West Virginia and was basically amateur hour where most of the people in it had no acting experience and it showed in a big way with a couple of them. It was basically an older version of some of the micro-budget stuff I've watched, which made the episode even more hilarious for me.

^^^^^^^^ I loved watching that show!

Back in the 60’s, we had Ghoulardi out of Cleveland and he used to do stuff like that with old movies, too.

Thanks for sharing that MST3K is on YouTube.  I will check it out.

Speaking of YouTube, we recently ditched our Directv and are streaming. The old dog is trying to learn some new tricks. I have been binge watching Bar Rescue. I love watching John Taffer rip into people.

Other shows we have been binge watching are The Beverly Hillbillies and The Good Fight.

Finished You season two a few days ago. Horrible, but I'm glad they finally went all in on the crazy at least.

Still working on Six Feet Under by myself and the rewatch of The West Wing with my husband.

Just started Cheer on Netflix tonight. So far so good.

Love Six Feet Under. I watched it with my wife, who grew up in a family that owned a funeral home. It was a fascinating watch with her. The series is pretty spot on and accurate about the mechanics of the funeral business. Also, the characters and stories are great. The last few minutes of the series is one of the best endings out there.

I'm almost done with the Boys on Amazon. Awesome show and commentary on superheros.

I'm two seasons into Peaky Blinders and loving it.

The Good Place returned last night and was great as always.

Next on my docket is the new season of the Expanse.
