Any time in history that you're a part of would naturally get labeled as such.

OSU suspending concession stand sales for athletic events might be the biggest half-ass measure taken yet.

As if it's not going to flatten the curve.
Wait till this last football game is played. After that, I bet the NCAA starts to put on all kinds of BS restrictions
Isn't omicron less deadly than all the others? How have we NOT moved on with our lives yet? How do people still buy into this, and fail to see the politicization?

The only reason I may see it less than some is that when the choices are incompetence or bad intentions, I tend to side with the former.

Right now, I'm trying to think of anyone I know who gained a noticeable amount of pandemic weight. As in pure pandemic -- not someone who gained weight during it, but was also gaining before it, so you can't really blame their gain on the pandemic. Coming up empty so far! I mean, 10-15 pounds or something more subtle like that, sure, probably. But struggling to think of anyone who legit put on 30-40 pounds. Well, one guy...but then he realized that when he had to go back to the office he'd have to buy a bunch of new clothes, so he shed it in a hurry, but that's it.

You seem like the type that has been the same weight within 5 lbs for 30 years
I’m down 15 since lockdowns started back then. Wife down 10. My dad same, my mom down 20, step mom same, sister down 5
Doesn’t seem legit
It looks like the numbers are only from people who did gain weight. There are a few more studies in the thread comments, where 6 in 10 had gained weight. I just thought it was interesting, I definitely gained a few but can’t necessarily blame it on Covid.
I gained 20lbs, probably more. Once I started to push 2 bills I freaked out and acted on it.

The work clothes are a quick reminder that you are becoming a fat ass.

Covid hit the skids today. CDC coming out and basically saying 50,000 Covid deaths and not 800,000.
