Hot Fuzz. It's good. Amazon adding ads unless you pay more is bad.

Skyscraper - 3/10. Formula movies can have redeeming qualities, this had none.

Dune: Part 2 - 9.9/10. Between Oppenheimer and Dune: Part 2, we have gotten some near perfect blockbusters within the last 12 months.

Has anyone watched the iron claw. That movie deserved to be mentioned and make a run at the awards. If you have lost a brother or sibling you are in for an emotional time.

I have. I am surprised it didn't get a little more attention. But I don't think it is as good as most of the 10 BP noms. But Maestro is horribly boring.

Longlegs  5/10

Very promising premise.  Nicholas Cage is a good bad guy, although he hardly got screen time.  The film goes along very well for the first 3/4, then it's like the writer couldn't figure out how to conclude it.  The last 1/4 sucked.

Twisters. I think I liked it more than the OG. 9/10. Glen Powell continuing his ascent to true moviestar.

Iron Claw was fantastic!  "I can't be here anymore... tonight, I walk with my brothers".. Damn Kerry!

Last movie I watched was "Jules" - crazy old man has a UFO crash in his backyard, no one believes him.  Really good.

If I mostly forgot about the original Twister movie would it affect my watching of the new one?

I watched it in theater and only remember Helen Hunt and her husband chasing tornadoes. I do remember it being a movie I very much enjoyed.

Its closer to a remake than a sequel. They tie in the tech of Dorthy to read tornados as now being commonplace, but thats really the only mention of the OG.

100% agree, I liked it even a little better than Spider-Man No Way Home (all 3 spider men in it).

It absolutely did not disappoint on any level

My mom and dad saw it, they loved the original and thought this one sucked. I haven’t seen it yet.

Went to a drive in double feature.  Deadpool and Wolverine was outstanding.  Didn't care to stay for Bad Boys.

Hasn't come out yet but looking forward to Happy Gilmore 2 which will come out on Netflix. Will likely be a clunker but love me some Shooter McGavin. Plus, will be interested to see how MJF from AEW Wrestling does in his role.

Don't have a date as they just started filming on 9/9. Supposed to also have Bad Bunny and a cameo by Travis Kelce in it.
