Mindless over paid individuals with little morals, values and integrity following more of the same individuals

Or a person could simply not watch them instead of publicly crying about them in a manner strangely resembling the "snowflakes" they routine ridicule.

Love the Monday outrage though!

Yeah, the simple answer is to not watch.

I support the arts, big fan of Broardway, I tuned in last night for a few minute just to see .... so sad

What was so bad about it?

I watched some of it.  Seemed harmless.

I like to look at the tables to see how much they have openly had to drink.

I didn’t watch last night, but what was said that was bad? I haven’t seen the Oprah speech, but saw some other quotes which were fine. Unless you have a problem with them speaking out against men raping, groping, persuading, and coercing young women into doing things/situations that are unwanted.

I tuned in for a short bit at end. I hadn't even heard of any of the movies that were up for best picture or the movies that the best actress nominees were in.

The fact that Thor Ragnarok was snubbed for the Best Picture nominee was enough for me to turn it off. Easily the best movie I saw this in 2017.

Any time you have a large gathering of rich people who tend to be of the liberal persuasion together on TV, it causes a certain percentage of conservatives to get a lot of sand in their vaginas where they go right past the logical "these people have stupid-ass opinions in my eyes" mentality and change the channel and go straight to "ME 'MURRCAN! ME NO WANT SEE THIS DUM DUM STUFF!!! TAKE IT OFF TV!!!!"

I think it has to do with the hypocritical virtue signaling of people who allowed it to happen for years, and now PRETEND to care about it. Elizabeth Moss talked about it in a speech and she is a fucking scientoligist who holds people literally hostage.

That said, I didn't watch a minute and am fine with the rich fucks having an award show so they can congratulate themselves on such a fine job they have done (and sniff their own farts)

Someday I'd like to have nothing bigger to worry about than what celebrities are possibly doing.

Yeah, the simple answer is to not watch.

But if he didn't post about it, you'd have no websites.

While I would never watch these self-aggrandizing libtards, having the shows on tv is helpful to other real Americans who can then get a glimpse into the whackery of these pretentious fools and hypocrites.

I believe people who complain about these awards shows watch them without exception, even if it is just to look for something to be pissed about.  I promise that if you don't watch, it won't upset you in the least.

Agreed.  I don't care for the award shows.....I may watch some of the country music ones and flip through to when they have performances

Same goes for the constant whiners about the media.

You choose what you consume, and holy fuck people ingest a lot of garbage these days.

I think it is the twitter effect.  I don't follow people I find annoying, but then people post retweets, quotes, etc and you see the shit anyway. It's almost impossible to not see bullshit unless you don't use socia media at all.

I definitely can agree with this. Whenever I get on Twitter, it's a race to see what I find first: one of the people with conservative beliefs posting some lame attempt at humor over something someone on the left said (politard humor: the least funny "humor" imaginable) or did OR one of the people with liberal beliefs retweeting post 1 of 24398730568 in Seth Abramson's latest meaningless tweet barrage.

The worst thing about our current divisiveness is that everyone feels their voice should be heard...even if said "voice" is simply to parrot what someone else is saying. And it's impossible to avoid unless you give up on technology, move to the most isolated place imaginable and shut yourself away from everyone and everything.
