Just watched ARCTIC on Prime.

Also if you liked Uncut Gems. Good Time is also great, same directors. Similar style, not as intense but a grimy flick.

Parasite easily best I've seen this year.
Uncut Gems was the next. I know not for everyone but I liked it a lot.
I watched The Talented Mr. Ripley the other day. I've never seen it...wayy late to the party.
That’s how I felt too. Parasite easily best movie of the year, but the king was fucking awesome. I haven’t seen uncut gems yet, but I’ll watch soon.
posted by SportsAndLadyIt’s very difficult to explain. But very high level, a poor Korean family of 4 gets an opportunity to work with a wealthy Korean family of 4. The poor family are “street smart” the wealthy family are not.
Super violent or gory?

There are some violent scenes, but only a few.

You’re asking too many questions! Just give it a watch.
Huh, might have to watch Parasite from the commentary. Subtitles aren't a big thing for me, as I have a decent number of foreign-language movies. Mainly horror and gangster, so suspense isn't that far off genre-wise.

Should my kid watch it? 16....sorry trying to be a decent parent
Not a movie, but I'll be watching The Phantom of the Opera on Andrew Lloyd Webber's YouTube channel today.

I’d say yes, it’s not any worse than American R-rated. Depends on what you let him watch now, I guess. There is one sex scene that could be a bit awkward. Can’t fast forward though, based on the rest of what is happening in the scene.

It’s fine for a 16 yr old
Parasite is fantastic.
Moon on Netflix. Great movie.
The Last King of Scotland. I am depressed!
Vivarium
Pretty forgettable horror flick.
Dennis Rodman doc on ESPN. Sad story.
Gunjiam Haunted Asylum -- 7/10 -- Korean found footage deal with seven people going to a famous haunted place for web hits to find out shit's real and then die. Took a little while to get going and there were a few cultural things that went over my head (the breaking point for two characters seemed to be someone touching something in the asylum because it was cursed and by touching it, that made him cursed), but it had good atmosphere and did get pretty creepy at times.
Part of a six-movie collection of mainly international horror I picked up because Train to Busan was on it.

Great flick tho. Forest Whitaker had the locals down perfectly with his mannerisms.
Last night:
Dumb and Dumber. Excellent.
8/8.

+1. Watched it over the weekend. I felt like it was the same action movie I have watched for years, just with awesome tracking shots.
