Quarantine Purchases?

We have an 06 Pilot with 205,000 miles on it.  It's been a great vehicle for us.

Shortly before this quarantine, we pulled the trigger and bought a 2020 Passport. Love it. It is black copper pearl.

Lots of alchohol. I had slowed down my drinking a lot but for the past 2 weeks I've bought and consumed more beer than the 2.5 months before this all started. All good to support local breweries

Just a PSA guys - alcohol weakens your immune system, so you might want to give your liver a few days off now and again.

I don’t see that happening, but I appreciate the pointer. Then again, that might not apply to ‘pro drinkers’.

Alcohol feels like one of the few things still offering variety these days. I got back on Facebook to follow all of the beer stores/breweries around here to see what they're offering that day. It'd suck if when this was all over a number of them were out of business.

Also, kind of obvious here, but one thing I'm not buying anymore is gas. Filled up gas tank for $13 today and that was the first time I had bought gas in weeks. Probably wont need to buy anymore for another few weeks.

Same for me.  But, sorry, that actually puts us more at risk - the virus doesn't kill us, but a hyper-immune response does.

Bird Flu back in 2004 - some of the most at-risk were people under 40 who never got sick....I'm not talking out of my ass, I was tasked with researching that for 2+ weeks.

Look, we can listen to Mr. Science here, or just listen to me when I say that I drink like it's an occupation (the good kind where you actually like showing up for work and don't half-ass your way through the day) and, over the past however many years, haven't had more than the rare (once per year, usually) cold that has me under the weather for 3 or so days. You want an immune system that knows how to go to war for you and putting it to the test daily is the best way to make it grow and get strong!

Same here.  But I'm going to need to get some soon for my mower. My grass is really starting to grow.

Filled up my 3 gas containers for $12. Should last a good while.
