Yep, I work right next to one of their stores in SF. They're pretty great if you can get a plain wool t without some dumbass graphic. Most of their shirts are a blend that include wool, but the wool is spun around a nylon core for structure and durability. However for the price (on the website they're usually around $75 a shirt) I'd prefer the MW (which I linked in a previous post) for slightly cheaper and MiUSA with a lifetime warranty + no graphics [personal preference].

However, the MW shirt is slightly heavier and only comes in one weight. If want a lighter weight (great for the hot/humid cincy summers for example) I'm going outlier run weight or the Icebreaker ultalite or feather weight if they have a color you like. For my body type, I prefer the fit of the outlier, and I think the material is slightly more comfortable, but end of the day they're both great.

I ask, because they have a few 120 weight t shirts (with graphics) for 50% off ($32.50) that I was considering buying for working out.

Finally bite the bullet and bought another Xbox Elite Controller. I've put it off for about 8 months since one bumper broke off but now the other did as well. I remember to get the warranty this time. These controllers are the best but they have the worst quality and I have learned that the bumpers break easily and to always get the warranty.

I've actually been sticking to my spending freeze. Other than bar nights, of course. 🍺

Purchased ticket to two events coming up.

1. Texas v. Maryland at FedEx on 9/1/2018. Going with a buddy who saw MD beat Texas last year.

2. Chris Stapleton in October with the wife. We saw him last year. Dude is amazing live.

They'd be great for that. Prob get least  two wears between washes as well.

Who can assist me with purchasing a new vacuum? Mine just died.

Looking into the Dyson stick models, v6 line. There are so many options I have no idea wtf to get.

It doesn't even have to be a Dyson, just that style. Docking station and cordless. My apartment is tiny and 90% hard wood.

We have had a Dyson for about 9 years now (bought with BB&B gift cards from our wedding) and have had no issues with it. It's one of the larger models, not a stick model, but as far as the brand goes we have no complaints. We have considered getting one of the stick models recently but went with a cheaper Dirt Devil that was on sale on Prime Day last year (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MF64OF0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I don't like it so would definitely not recommend it.

Got a great deal on a Weber Genesis stainless steel. Model was s-310 which was retailing at $799 and I paid $360 (10% off coupon) and a free Bluetooth meat probe. The Genesis never seem to go on sale so maybe they’re doing new models, but it was a great deal. Moving up from a tailgate Weber q1000 to this is like a Chevy Cavalier to a Lexus, pretty excited.

Haha I don’t remember the last time I heard the Cavalier mentioned. Recently got a TP Taylormade 56° for only $55

Hey, someone else who wears New Balance.

Normally I get the 623 or 624 model, stills sells for 75 bucks.  Yesterday I sprung for the 860v8 model for a little color and style - and the heel and arch support are incredible.  My wife was happy, said it's nice to see me in something that doesn't scream "retired guy who looks like he's wearing Dr. Scholls".  First time I ever spent more than $100 bucks on sneakers, but at my age, comfort is worth it.

NB is tops in comfort for my foot, and the 574 line is my favorite style. Ended up getting the shoes on sale, plus almost $20 in ebates cash back.

Not "my" latest purchase but was informed by my credit card company that someone bought $485 worth of high end men's shirts from some place in Washington, DC on my card at 3:57am this morning. Also tried to purchase somewhere else for $484 but that got declined. Assholes.
