If you're talking about the tweet I shared, you might have missed the last sentence about the CDC, which is a federal agency.

It used to be "give it two weeks." If "give it 6 months" becomes the new catch phrase I'm going to lose it.

I read this as I sit here in the airport where we are all masked up for reasons probably no one can explain.
