Im seeing conflicting reports, but regardless this shit is stupid. They have the stadium at full capacity and no mask requirement. They certainly aren’t testing fans. The testing needs to end with athletes.

I agree. But the NCAA will always be jackass about anything it does. It's like dealing with the BMV or AT&T - stupid ass.

Either the vaccines are a joke or the testing is a joke. If these kids arent sick or showing symptoms then who cares what the results are.
There's plenty of studies to confirm that the vaccines are effective.

No, you didn't hear that. Only unvaccinated players are tested. We can agree the NCAA is stupid for doing it this way, but it's that NCAA ,- what do you expect? The kids who chose not to get the vaccine knew the risk, so this is entirely on them.

In other news of stupid people....
Apparently upwards of 100 people have contracted Covid on Everest this year. Sooooo during a pandemic that kills people through edema and oxygen deprivation, you go climb a mountain that regularly kills very fit people thru edema and oxygen deprivation? Sounds...less than smart.
But in typical fashion - and what I'm guessing is coming mostly from Americans - some of the climbers want to SUE Nepal for allowing this to happen.
