Measuring the effects of Covid by deaths alone is every bit as dumb as going solely by number of cases.

I'd love to quit hearing about Covid. If you didn't get a vaccine and you get Covid - your problem. I'm sick of us arranging our lives to essentially accommodate people who refuse to be vaccinated. It is their problem now, no one else's. 

I don't know anyone that isn't vaccinated that wants any sort of special accamodations.

I'd love to quit hearing about Covid. If you didn't get a vaccine and you get Covid - your problem. 

I'm getting a little concerned that any increase in cases from new variants in the fall is going to be used to justify new restrictions (we're already seeing this in UK an other places).

Also, LOL @ the left-wing media saying white people who refuse vaccination are Trump supporters, but minorities refusing vaccination is because of racism.

And just wait...if people need boosters or re-vaccination in 12-18 months you'll see compliance drop off a cliff.  I think only 30M, maybe 60M, people get the flu vaccine annually and I wouldn't expect annual covid vaccinations to be much higher.

The majority of mainstream news, along with the social media cesspool, is almost exclusively rage or fear porn.  Unless you're a naturally skeptical person with the skills and interest to do your own fact-checking, it's almost impossible to ignore everything.

I'm seeing theories floating around about the Florida condo collapse being linked to global warming.  It's starting to feel like mainstream media might need to be licensed and subject to potential malpractice/disbarment (as in medical, legal, finance fields, etc).

It is what it is at this point but I kind of want the olympics taken away from Japan after they decided no spectators.

I have anxiety about this. My 3 year old is a dick. I just need to get into the air in August, and not get kicked off for the way back. Just hoping they lift the dumbass statute. Also, putting it at 2 year olds was fucking stupid. 

I’m willing to show up on the news though. I’ll let you know if it’s me telling someone to die.
