What is everyone doing for the holidays this year?

We're hosting my wife's family on Christmas Eve. It should be interesting, we have a very small house and there are 15ish people coming. We've done it before, but it was 2019 and did give me tons of anxiety.

Christmas day at her parents.

Visiting my mom for the last few days of the year.

Back to Cincinnati on NYE for the Bearcats game at our favorite watering hole (Paradise Brewing) and then, most likely, a concert in Covington, KY later that night.

Already had a Christmas with my daughter’s fiancé’s family and then also with my wife’s family. Christmas Eve we’ll have a get together with my mom’s side of the family and then on Christmas we’ll have dinner for any and all that show to.

On the 27th my wife and I are headed to Gatlinburg for 3 days.

Small gatherings at my parent's for Xmas Eve, then my sister's all day next day.

I'm off from 12/24-1/2. I've never had this before, so I'm fucking hyped. Gonna snowboard as much as possible.

NYE I think lowkey, maybe go to Hibachi with the entire fam. That will be hilarious.

NYD I may go to a 14 hour rave. TBD.

Not much. No plans currently for Xmas Eve, but will likely make it over to one of the in-laws houses. Christmas Day, after stockings and presents will have an early dinner over here. 7 adults, 3 kids and a baby. I'm making the roast, but everything else is being brought by others, so not too bad!

Our stuff starts in January. I have Wedding, Super Bowl, wife's Preident's Club trip. in back-to-back-to-back-to-back weekends. I think my kids are going to forget who I am.

We had my family and my wife's family Christmases this past weekend. Christmas eve is always spent at my wife's grandmother's farm. then we will travel back to Pittsburgh to have our family Christmas and finally back to Marietta for her other grandparents christmas on the 26th.

It's a lot of travel and kind of a pain but after a year of not being able to see anyone due to covid fears, we are looking forward to it. Her grandparents are all in declining health and we're trying to make up for the years spent out west not being able to come to these celebrations, which played a large part in our decision to move back from OKC where we were thriving (even if i hated my boss).

Christmas: My family: First time in 3 years with my family due to travel and moving last year.

Next week we will visit my in-laws. Wife's birthday is on the 30th and that is the day we usually go out and do something.

NYE: Home watching playoff games and may have some neighbors over.

Back before the damn virus, in 2019, the wife and I spent Christmas in New Orleans. Cannot recommend that enough if you want to do something different around the holidays.

It'll be the second Christmas in a row without our younger son.  Went into the military last December, first time home was on Thanksgiving.  Had two weeks of leave, that was his "Christmas" with us.  Something we'll have to get used to for a while.

Other than that, my sister will come in from Indy, my nephew from State College, and we'll get together at my Dad's house on the 25th as we usually do.

Made reservations for an intimate NYE dinner with Mrs. Z at Mitchell's Steakhouse, curious to see if it will be worth the $$.  Can't party too hard afterward, though.  Have to work New Year's Day but at least I can watch some football at the office.

At an ANGB in Newburgh NY.   Apparently his Marine unit will be abolished within a year, so he should be somewhere else by next Christmas.

Not a whole lot. Only my parents on Christmas and eve, and then in-laws  26 for a few days. NYE will be at most with the neighbors, as the kids still go to bed by 8. Off from the 23rd- Jan 3rd, so that will be nice.

Had our immediate family Christmas on the 19th.

Christmas Eve/Christmas morning will be spent quietly at home. Mid-afternoon we'll head to one of my daughters so the grandkids can show us what Santa Claus brought them.

26th will be with my side.

NYE. Grandkids will be spending the night here.

Last day of work was the 16th and off until Jan 4th. It's been glorious.

We had Christmas with my family on Thanksgiving in Dallas at our house.

Christmas: I got down to Kentucky today to the lake house on Lake Cumberland after helping my mom finish some things for my brothers passing. We will stay here until the 27th and fly back.

NYE: I need to figure something out probably go to the speakeasy and Uber home.
