Did you post some empirical data or research that wasn’t based on your personal opinion/observations and I missed it?
I have before on this thread and other threads in the politics. But here are some for you:
Pew research: https://www.journalism.org/2017/10/02/covering-president-trump-in-a-polarized-media-environment/
Harvard: https://shorensteincenter.org/news-coverage-donald-trumps-first-100-days/
% of Jouranlists who identify as republican (the link to the study is in the story if you want to really dig into it): https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2014/05/06/just-7-percent-of-journalists-are-republicans-thats-far-less-than-even-a-decade-ago/?utm_term=.b845d17aac73
Pew research showing dem/liberals going further to the left: https://www.people-press.org/interactives/political-polarization-1994-2017/
And then if you want to sprinkle in the anecdotal observations you like to use, Obama got away from any legitimate negative coverage outside of Fox for: fast and furious, IRS targeting, VA scandal, Hacking/NSA, Bowe Bergdahl, using the DOJ as a weapon against journalists, paying iran millions in secret cash, lying to the public about keeping their healthcare plan, potential spying issues on then president-elect trump, etc.
Have you heard of those? If not, I don't blame you since he merely got a wrist slap for any of it. I don't disagree that Trump brings some shit to himself, but it is definitely laughable to bring up fox news and pretend their ridiculous coverage makes it an eye for eye with every other main stream media source.
