IDGAF about Trump, first of all. A misspelling with an extra "a" in it is whatever. I've used the wrong there/their/they're before.

Pelosi's Orwellian Doublespeak here is clearly worse.

i just thought it was funny. it wasnt anything towards you lol

They get pretty agitated when 'draining the swamp' is a campaign pledge and policy priority.

Not sure we can go any lower.  Buckle up.

America, where everyone has the right to prove their innocence at trial. Exactly as I learnt it.

This DA must be the shadiest bastard - but that's NYC politics.  Who cares if Trump's paid off a string of porn stars.  I don't think anyone who loves him or hates him is surprised or cares.  This falls under the category of "Let it go".  I guess Mr. DA just wants to be in the national news.  I also see that MTG is coming to town to protest.

This indictment will probably get Trump elected again.

I'm thinking the political calculus is that Trump is unelectable in a general, but this may help ensure his nomination.  The Dems do not want Desantis to get the nomination.

I also saw there are like 32 charges, so there might be a lot more to this [as originally speculated] than just Stormy Daniels.

Otherwise, from what I've read, if this is just about Stormy Daniels it's likely a loser, and could very well be thrown out.

I think I read today that the McDougal (I think?) chick is pretty prominently involved. Along with all sorts of vague stuff that may or may not mean anything because you know when you have something like this, especially involving a political figure in this day and age, every random out there with an opinion and the means to get that opinion widely spread suddenly becomes a legal expert who knows EXACTLY what is real and what will happen and what heads will roll, etc.

If this is the motivation this is quite dangerous.  Trump is not worth the damage.

They better have something "good" in those charges.  Solid, legal, and beyond reproach.  Otherwise it will wrench the nation.

Theoretically. But the narrative isn't objective.

In the days and weeks ahead, if you "disagree" with the "summary", then you're probably an insurrectionist....

I think they are going more for the untitled payments made to Michael Cohen, which he says were pay backs for hush money.

Any local prosecutor can now go after any president; the leftists have opened a massive can of worms.  It is similar to Harry Reid and the nuclear option .................but their concern has always been political power, TODAY.

Buckle up.

So it looks like NPR rage quit twitter because they were given a designated tag called "State Affiliated Media" and then later changed to Government Funded Media.

NPR said in a statement Wednesday that it “will no longer be active on Twitter because the platform is taking actions that undermine our credibility by falsely implying that we are not editorially independent.”

“Defund @NPR,” was Musk’s tweeted response. His latest tiff with a news organization reflects a gamble for the social media platform he bought last year.

So, the Bud Light issue/boycott. I don't drink that particular brand when I have beer, so in a way, I'm already boycotting it lol

But I think the issue isn't necessarily because there is a trans person there, Dylan Mulvaney. I think the issue is that Dylan Mulvaney is for trans affirming care for minors and just had a conversation about during a visit to the White House, with Joe Biden seemingly in agreeance.

But apparently, lots of people are taking notice and taking it seriously. Notable figures such as Kid Rock and Travis Tritt are the two public figures that come to mind and are getting the most publicity out of it. So far the bad publicity for BL has cost them $6.65 billion dollars.

I don't think Anheuser Busch really thought this through, most likely just looking for cheap social credit points. Dylan Mulvaney is an trans activist that pushes for trans affirming care that includes chemical castration and frankensteining bodies of kids. I just don't think they really looked into this person, just saw that they were famous on Tik Tok and went to the WH. But 6.65bil is a huge mistake.

That’s inclusion for you. Their marketing VP is an idiot. And I’m skeptical that dude is even trans. He seems like a gay dude playing a caricature of an over the top stereotypical woman. But get them clicks.

And no, Trans should be unacceptable in general. The only mental health illness where instead of trying to fix it they just let them go with their wild fantasies.

Talk about not knowing your customers.  Whatever your opinion of trans makes no difference.  An idiot can probably do a reasonable guess of the Bud Light demographic.  If Anheiser Busch insists on virtue signaling, business school 101 would tell them not to use the Bud Light brand for it.

Besides, it’s a urine tasting swill that will never become en vogue with the young wine crowd.

This will for an excellent HBS case study in future years.
