I'm OK with a nation without guns. But I get to go last.

I only go last after the government gives up their's as well.

I'm okay with a nation without guns because each individual doesn't want a gun.

But if it's the rule, and someone else breaks the rule, I'd rather not be held to a law that puts me at a disadvantage in defending my own home.

Actually I'm not OK without guns (as much because I enjoy them as anything more practical), I was just showing one fallacy of many in the logic of the grabbers. One they are unlikely or unwilling to understand.

More

The rise of the far-right is tied to outlets like Fox News mainstreaming ludicrous ideas and hammering them home relentlessly. The counter to that is mealy-mouthed neutrality humping CNN and corporate dem defense squad MSNBC. Rigged game. Left needs a much bigger megaphone.

I thought this was a pretty interesting thing to say, considering that democratic media flatly outnumbers conservative media (newspapers, internet, radio, tv). Regardless of which part of the political spectrum you are on, how can you not know this? If you go by ratings, you'd have a point. But this person isn't going by ratings, he's going on the premise that apparently the left's messaging isn't being heard by enough people.

Maybe, just maybe, the messaging is why they're losing the audience? Not sure, I don't know, just a wild guess?

Lol CNN had a lady on today that said “Trump has radicalized more people than ISIS.” And Tapper just day there and shook his head. The media might not be the enemy of the people, but they sure aren’t a friend of the people.

Also, good guy with a gun.

Every talking head on CNN gets to say the most radical stuff and get away with it

Yes, that's certainly the worst thing Trump has ever said.

Certainly worse than "I'm going to take a pen and mark out portions of the Constitution I don't like".

Or that they were going to get Mexico to pay for a wall.

Well, people call out CNN all the time, including liberals and "lefties". These same people will call out Trump, including never Trumpers. Both sides call out each other so I don't think anybody is exactly getting away with it. And in some ways, each media and a president have equal powers of persuasion. So I think this is really a wash.

Back to offensive costumes.  Thoughts on Shaun White facing backlash for dressing up as "simple jack," which is a character based off of Tropic Thunder?

Do we need ptown and fab to lecture us?

Stupid idea.  Rightly ridiculed for it.  Already apologized.

It was more of a scolding than a lecture, I'd say. :)
