Comey and McCabe were essentially removed by their own people, per the Inspector General findings.  They are proven liars and leakers, and the other criminals in the FBI and DoJ must also be purged.  And yesterday, another deadline for documents came and went with the DoJ and FBI thumbing their nose at The People's representatives in congress who have the duty of oversight.  Literally incredible how 'above-the-law' these deep state bureaucrats think they are.  If the stonewalling continues, I hope and believe that Mr. Trump will begin pardoning all those caught up in this corrupt and illegal charade, starting with Michael Flynn.

Congratulations, you seemed to include all of today's FOX/Brietbart talking points in one entry.  You even use the correct lingo.  I give you a 9/10.  Had you included the word "narrative", it would have been a perfect score.

Starbucks will shutter more than 8,000 US stores during the afternoon on May 29 to hold a bias-training session for 175,000 employees, the company said Tuesday. "Closing our stores for racial bias training is just one step in a journey that requires dedication from every level of our company and partnerships in our local communities," CEO Kevin Johnson said.

Sigh. What a dumb fucking story. Starbucks is already a progressive Company, but because one employee got called out they all have to do this shit? If the people were white this would be a non-story. News flash, if you aren't buying something you don't get to go into a restaurant and sit wherever you want.

That story makes zero sense. You can’t just say “well if he were white, he would have been allowed to use the restroom without buying a drink.” Where’s the proof for that? I actually did go to a Starbucks once before where they wouldn’t let me use the restroom without seeing my receipt first. It’s stupid that people just can just throw out “welllllllll if he were white...” and that’s your argument for someone to get fired and the entire company has to go through sensitivity training.

The opportunity for virtue signaling was too much for Starbucks to pass-up.

My understanding was that they were waiting for another member of their party.

Also, the whole getting arrested part seemed like a pretty extreme response.  Maybe just telling them, "Hey, guys.  If you're not going to order, could you move along?"  Seems like it would have been a much more efficient solution.

That.  Apparently, you can't just fire one asshole for that.  You've got to tell every other member to not be an asshole like that.

You don't lock your bathrooms unless you have a problem with it becoming a public restroom.  If a white guy is told he has to buy something to use the restroom, then that's the end of it.  This guy may have very likely thought it was because he was black, and then became a big enough nuisance that police had to be called.

I don't know what really happened and I doubt we ever will.  Maybe it was racism and the guy did nothing to escalate matters....but I don't think I would and I seriously doubt many cashier's making $9 an hour wouldn't just give you the code the second time you ask for, like, about 12 different reasons.  Now, if I tell you the bathroom is for paying customers and you call me a racist, then we might have a problem (although I probably still just give you the code rather than deal with that bullshit).  Although, for you're typical snowflake barista, calling them a racist is fighting words.

On a related note.....maybe you guys are different, but when meeting someone for coffee or a beer, it's TOTALLY appropriate to order for yourself if you get there first (unless it's a date).

So just order your damn coffee and go use the restroom.

It didn't appear that they were being belligerent in any of the videos I've seen floating around, but of course, I can see circumstances requiring police in that case.

I was actually speaking more to the police.  It naturally isn't as though the police have committed to arresting anyone upon arrival, though it's actually kinda funny to imagine an officer on patrol going, "Ugh.  Sonofabitch, I swear if I have to drive over there to handle this, SOMEBODY's getting arrested."

Obviously, it doesn't work that way.

Truth be told, I don't think this was a matter of conscious racism.  I really don't think that happens much.  At least not openly.  Devoid of any media, I would just see this as general incompetence.

Given your (not necessarily inaccurate) assessment of a typical barista, I could see one having a bad day being willing to die on that hill.  Were that to be the case, and the barista felt like dying on that hill because righteousness or rules or some shit, this might be one of those rare circumstances in which employers would prefer the employee give less of a shit than they do.

It's certainly not the norm, but it happens.

Beliefs and actions (and unproven motives for those actions) are completely different things.

The ADA requires special accommodations for the disabled. Duckworth is a dbl amputee with a kid on her tit. At least  they passed something that didn't cost us money.

The second sentence has absolutely nothing to do with the first.

I saw some femi-nazi comment yesterday that "if men had to breastfeed, the rule would have been changed years ago".

Apparently, making everything about identity politics is something one can major in at college.
