I forgot about that. Makes more sense.

posted by Laley23No. Allen is the only good pitcher on that list. And the only one I’ve ever felt confident in every time he has taken the mound, that we are gonna win. Perez had it for like half a season.
Doug Jones was good I guess, but completey different era and the Indians sucked lol.
Doug Jones was marginal. The next guy on the list might have been the second best closer they had in the modern era, but he fucked up the greatest opportunity ever in Tribe history (Omar said so). I've seen a lot of Tribe baseball, I would put Allen and Miller as 1a&1b for bullpen pitchers they have had.

I know. It works fine on the browser but Tapatalk pushed notifications on Tribe threads to me so it was in sight, in mind.

Bottom of the 5th. Indians up 4-0 all from the 4th inning where they had 6 hits. Nice to see finally

Yes, he almost got "Herb Scored".
Carrasco on a low pitch count might just come out in the 9th.

Nice job, Tribe.
BTW, the final score was 5-1 with Carrasco going the route.
And we are the last team in the majors to get 10 hits in a game.
And we are 7-5.
Go Tribe.

Wickman was the bane of my existence. Might be the all-time save leader but that dude could take the Atlantic Ocean and turn it into a bonfire.

He found a way to get it done though. I would easily take him over Blowoski. I have no clue how that dude had that many saves in 07.

Statistically, he was as bizarre a "success" as you'll get in baseball that year. 45 saves with an 85% success rate with a 5+ ERA and 1.4+ WHIP. The first half of that sentence and second half just do not go together.

Tribe gave him so many chances for saves, cause they were really fucking good that year. And I remember a TON of his runs came when he would come into a tie game and give up a bunch.
He sucked, but I loved that team.

I didn't realize Lindor only had one RBI coming into this game. He now has 3 more, with a 2 run double.
4-0.

8-1 with The Tribe still batting in the 4th.
