This is embarrassing, and yet so typical.

How many innings now without a run .............

I think I heard it’s a playoff record.  23…maybe?

Couldn’t watch….what he do?

This, and I called it out in real time. You have to live with bad splits in the early innings man. It’s a bullpen game lol.

“Hammy just said Hinch baited Vogt w Keider to get him to commit to his lefty heavy lineup before pulling the rug out by swapping him for the lefty Hurter after the 1st. Forced Vogt to think about pinch hitting RHH and he bit.“

it's so hard and foolish to love this team. yet every year, i get sucked into believing. honestly this isn't worse than either of the 3-1 world series flops, but it feels more painful for some reason. To just faceplant so hard in the first series knowing this team is going to be different next year and we'll lose some of our bigger offensive threats sucks.

Fry with the big pinch-hit 2-run homer, then he squeeze bunts in the next AB to score a crucial late run.

Don't see that every day.

Give Vogt credit, he deployed the few weapons on the bench at the right time and not too early. Paid off bigly.

Go win a game at home.

Was also interesting to see him use Clase for 1 2/3rd's instead of the cookie cutter 1-2-3 ninth. Pulled out all of the stops to get to Game 5.

Game time moved to 1pm due to weather concerns.

Meant to address this before and forgot. I think this team is a year early, they are setup for a long window here…

Offensively will be loads better next year, imo. Manzardo/CDL for an entire season for Naylor/RF is a massive upgrade. Plus Bazzana potentially late in year. Plus (gulp) Thomas in CF for 162…

Was very high on DeLauter, but the fact that he played only 35 games this year and 55 games last year definitely has some red flags for health/longevity/dependability

Wow. Lane’s grand slam was insane. What a game after 4 innings where it looked like a repeat of game 2.

That was great!

Lane Thomas….wow!

As I long time admirer of the Tigers, I would like to give a tip of the cap to Detroit for their incredible run from mid-August.

That was fun!!!

Thomas trade continues to baffle me. Thank goodness he finally made it somewhat worth it.

Beat the damn Empire.

Gonna be tough. I hate the Yankees dumbass stadium. Hopefully a day of rest is good for our bullpen. Clase is the fucking man.

Considering the opposition are two New York teams and the Dodgers, this might be the most popular a Cleveland team has ever been outside of Cleveland fans. I know coming into yesterday, my mindset was that I'll be cheering for whoever wins between them and Detroit to go all the way.

Need some length from the starters this series. They need to be better, but Vogt also cannot pull them like he did against Tigers. Completely unsustainable

Gavin Williams, or maybe that would be a jinx since they gave him ZERO run support during the season.
