He was never worth what we gave up. And now they are trying to make him work because he was the big trade so we have to suffer thru him vs RHP. 

I mean trading for a platoon player is one thing. Trading for one without power, who hits the side you as a team are decent at, and giving up more than most teams did for less make it one of the worst trades I can recall.

I did like what I saw from Cobb tonight, though. Vogt continues to suck dong and didn’t pull him when he should’ve with a completely rested best-in-the-bigs bullpen…

My friend texted me that it's probably one of those first time since 1917 stats. 

In a Red Sox game, earlier in the week, they had 2 players hit back to back homers twice....another weird one.

Tribe needs to send the Tigers a "thank you" note for taking care of the Royals in the first two games of their series to keep the lead at 5 games.

Guardians go .500, I think Royals need to win out...

This will sound like the "old man get off my lawn post" but I just realized that this season is my 50th year as a Tribe fan. I first started listening on my transistor radio as a kid. I heard a stat today where, for the younger guys, I'm going to say "enjoy this.....even though it's frustrating they haven't won a championship in our lives, you've been spoiled.

The first 25 years of my fandom this team didn't sniff a playoff. They may have finished in 3rd one year but that was in the old division when they were paired with the Yankees, Red Sox and Orioles.

The stat I heard today was since the modern day group first made the playoffs in 1995, they have now made it 14 out of the last 29 years. That's basically enjoying playoff baseball every other year.

I thought the same thing when Hamilton was like 14 years post season since 1995. I’ve lived and died by Cleveland sports in that time frame. I feel like that’s a good amount of post seasons. Maybe I’m just butt hurt. In 38 btw.
