Here is my today’s grocery shopping experience at Giant Eagle in Brunswick:
Plenty of most items available.
Items sold out: bread, eggs, frozen pizza, ground beef and taco stuff. (did not visit the tp aisle) There was a limit on many items, one or two of things max.
It was very crowded. People were being polite to each other and the workers, however.

I went today to several stores, in the late afternoon. I got food, but trying to stock-up on what I normally eat left me with a lot of gaps. And it was like WTF? everyone is still out of paper towels and toilet paper.
Plenty of food, well maybe not "plenty", but most of what was left that was any decent was of the more perishable variety. I figure they're still making food, but who knows how long people are going to continue to add to their stockpiles.
I did get in-and-out in a reasonable time. Longer than normal, but only like 10-15 minutes. Going to have to try to selectively grab stuff every day for a few days.

I'm really glad we got a jump on the grocery stores on Thursday and Friday. We won't need to go back anytime soon, at least a month if necessary.

I went to Trader Joe's today. I've just been making smaller trips to stock up.
They were limiting the amount of people in the door to control the crowd, I guess it was absolutely mobbed the past few days. It was a rather pleasant experience, out of a lot, but I got mostly what I went for.
Aside from fresh fruit and veggies and meat, I'm good for at least 3 weeks.

My wife teaches English to Chinese kids. China is back to normal. Roughly 44 days and all the hysteria is gone. Her 9-year-old student went to a big festival on Saturday. Lots going on there now.
Those temporary hospitals are shutting down. Seems like all is well.

Saw that today. One of the main areas of infection was allowing factories to open back up and people heading to work. Seems they have hit the worst and moving forward. Hoping America can get it done in closer to 30 days. Had no faith in that a few days ago, but this news is promising.

Like 25-30 people. This was at 2pm on a Monday. They were letting in 5-10 at a time. It wasn't packed in there at all, but I guess it was chaotic and this was the only way they could contain the crowds.
NYC, Manhattan specifcally just has a weird vibe. I work in Soho, it's usually crowded all day everyday, walked through today and it was a ghost town.

My step brother recently married an Indian girl and she just got all cleared to work. I got her on a local small grocery store....she’s bottom of totem pole be a lot....told her she’d get 16-24 hours a week.......she also applied at Kroger and bottom of their pole as well. Told her 15 hrs a week and she could work her way up to 30.
She worked 44 hours last week at small grocery and is scheduled for 40 this week at Kroger. Poor thing wasn’t even trained.

Well, I kinda figured this was coming, because no sports = no revenue. But just got the company email that all full-time salaries will be reduced to a "30 hour maximum" pay scale. Essentially, I'm making 25% less as of 8am this morning.

Is it safe to assume that execs aren't taking cuts?

Well, the entire revenue for the company is based on providing our services to the given sports. Currently losing out on:
- NCAA Tournament
- PGA
- NASCAR
- Horse Racing (have 3 shows not cancelled yet, but Derby bye bye is bad)
- MLB/MiLB
- NBA
- NCAA Baseball/Swiming/Track
- Olympics (likely done)
And countless others I’m not thinking of. So, by default, he (our CEO) is losing out on a ton. The problem lies when you realize how well we have done for the past decade, with minimal raises or bonuses (while he buys the clubhouse of the local country club and turns it into his own residence).
