he's technically not wrong, but that isn't realistic either.

Yeah, 100% fuck that and why I keep asking what the end game is here.  If everyone thinks bringing people back to society is just going to make it spike again, then why are we even doing this?

Right, I understand this will be around for a while, but locking us in our houses for the entire time isn't a serious idea. 

May not be around for as long as the doom and gloomers think. Someone from the White House predicted 4 days from the peak and the virus mostly gone by mid-May. 
So there’s two sides: 12-18 month doom and gloom crowd. And another month, overly optimistic crowd. I’m rooting for the latter.
