Well, I’ll stick my neck out and start this series thread. But I feel like it will be a “one and done”. Just don’t have much confidence right now. I’ll be happy if we come out of this series 2-2.

The pitching matchups don’t seem too bad for us to handle, though.

Tonight it’s Plutko 4-3 vs Green 2-3.

Tomorrow night it’s Civale 1-1 vs Tanaka 8-6.

Saturday afternoon it’s Plesac 6-3 vs Paxton 8-6.

Sunday afternoon it’s Clevinger 7-2 vs Sabathia 5-6.

So here we go and time to fish or cut bait.

BTW, I hate the Yankees.

Offense rolling, with J-Ram leading the way. However, we need Kluber/Carrasco/Salazar to get back, cause Plutko ain’t the answer as a starter (would love him in the pen, though)...TRIBE!!!

Solid game! Glad Tito finally benched Mercado. The way Allen has swung since most recent call-up I actually feel this is best lineup offensively and defensively. Allen has been surprisingly great in the 2-hole as he is seeing a lot more fastballs/strikes.

Was taking with a friend. Kluber/Beiber/Clevinger and Plesac rotation. Plutko as the innings eater and fuck it, Carrasco as the Andrew Miller with Hand in the 9th.

I've heard a lot of talk about concern with the pen. Big "if's" but if Kluber can come back to reasonable form, and they stay in this, the playoff rotation could be Clevinger/Bieber/ Kluber (likely in that order but Clevinger & Bieber might be able to flip flop). They could move Civale & Carrasco (assuming he returns) to the pen and they'd be in good shape.
