11 wins and a playoff berth. The rest is gravy this season. Looking forward to next week for the first time in forever.

Poured my first playoff clinching beer ever. And I’m 34. Sheesh.

Rather stunning when put like that.

I was a freshman in HS and Lebron was in HS the last time this happened.  Never thought it would take this long, but very nice to see once again.

Fuck the gravy, let’s beat Pittsburgh next week.

Edit: most of us were posting on JJhuddle the last time the browns made the playoffs.

When do they announce next weekend’s schedule? Any risk of the COVID squad being out on Saturday, or both days?

Browns Sunday night. Ward should be back, Haden should still be out for Pitt. Not sure about others

Honestly not sure if I want Haden back or not.

Another positive is with Ravens winnings Browns will face the 3rd place teams next year likely making a somewhat easier schedule (though that doesn’t always happen that way)

Good Luck to the Browns next week. As a Bengals fan I hope we’re watching the end of Pittsburgh. AFC North will have Baker, Burrow, and Lamar and hopefully Pittsburgh is left without a QB

Yes. I am a radio listener and I heard Jimmy say it.....live.

He is a great announcer and projects so much joy on a win.

I turned on the radio at the end specifically just to hear his call.  Risky on my part with the potential jinx, but worth it.

I don’t have much confidence heading into the matchup next week, but other than getting some players back, it would also be nice if they can actually practice this week. I don’t think the Browns have  had a legitimate practice these past two weeks and it has shown.

If Stefanski gets his head out of his ass and runs Chubb they have a better than decent chance, imo. I don't mind their analytics but this "Kareem Hunt is much more effective in the 4th quarter" stuff is bullshit. Matbe earlier in the year when they were facing creampuff defenses like Dallas. If they focus on run first, that play action will work very well, even with all of Pittsburgh's starters back. This will open up misdirection. The last 4 weeks have shown that the Steelers can't stop the run.

I agree with you in regards to run first and play action. I also would like to see them have baker roll out more when passing. They seem to have gotten away from that recently.

My lack of confidence comes more so from the Browns, than the Steelers getting their starters back.  The Steelers are good, but they are beatable even with the rapist under center.  For the Browns, you can't count on their defense (how many times have they stopped a team from converted on 4th down this year?), so in order to win the offense is going to need to show up.  If the same Stefanski shows up this week, then this will be a blowout loss.  Do the analytics really say Hunt is more effective in the 4h quarter?  If so, they need to fire the head of the analytics team.  Chubb averages 5.6 yards per carry and has more yards after first contact vs Hunt.   Fuck the analytics, the simple math says give it to Chubb.  The eye test says it too.  Chubb is built for the 4th quarter.   The game should have never come down to a 2 pt conversion.   It was beyond me, that they kept Chubb on the sideline.  Also, if they were going to always go for it on 4th down, then why didn't they run the ball on third?
