Went with Mrs. Fish to see Crazy Rich Asians yesterday. It exceeded my expectations...worth $10 IMO.
Coco - 9.5/10
Crazy Rich Asians with my wife and mom - 6/10 wasn't upset I had to sit through it.
Man, the re-make of Predator looks horrible.

April
Snowden - 7/10
A few of the antagonists were portrayed a bit too stereotypically "evil," but otherwise, it was well-done. JGL did a great job with the portrayal.
Mary Goes Round 9/10. About an addiction counselor who is secretly and active alcoholic herself. She is called back to her hometown by her dying father in order to connect with her step sister who was previously unknown to her. A great film and the main lead actress was absolutely fantastic.

Belated congratulations!
I saw the house with a clock in its walls over the weekend. I didn't expect much and it didn't deliver much. I like Jack Black but thought he did a shitty job playing a wizard. I like Cate Blanchett and she was just ok. The kid was pretty terrible. 3/10
Jurassic World - 6/10. Didn't hate it. Chris Pratt is great.

No, it's in its own terrible universe
Tonight I saw predator and it was about what I expected. Not really great but not terrible. 5/10
Having a newborn at home is great but damn I wanted to see First Man and Venom in a couple weeks.

Speaking from experience...
This weekend schedule a spa day for your wife/gf whatever and have it all paid for tip included. Just surprise her by telling her "I got the baby, go get pampered" or whatever.
This will make 2 things happen for you:
1. You will probably get a bj that night (bonus).
2. The next weekend when you want to go see Venom and The First Man, just ask her "hey babe, I really want to see these two movies but don't want to leave you alone with the baby". With out even asking she will remember the spa day and MAKE you go watch the movie(s).
Trust me, it works. My kids were little once too.
Venom looks terrible

I will see it, but I'm not sure how they can make it interesting.

Tom Hardy isn't the worst start. I'm not sure I've disliked him in anything.

Agreed, wondering which will be worse: Venom or Spiderman 3
