No weapon of war is good.  At times they are a necessary evil.

This is exactly correct

Like when you give them to one corrupt regime fighting another corrupt regime in a war the people there have been fighting in some form for centuries?

What government is not corrupt to one extent or another?  What people on earth have not been fighting each other for centuries?  The Russians hurl sophisticated accurate million dollar missiles into residential high rises, hospitals, restaurants, and raize cities to the ground.  Why some people shit their pants in this context over cluster munitions provided for use on entrenched positions in the countryside I do not know.  Like I said no good in any of this, but needs stopped.

You know recent history and how this goes.  As has been said by those in the past. Government at its best state is a necessary evil, at its worse intolerable.  One can judge the greater evil.  I have made my judgment and so have others.  There is a time for peace and a time for war.

Except it always seems like it is the time for our war.  What the Russians, or Vietnamese, or Iraqis, or whoever else does is sometimes barbaric.  But we don’t need to put ourselves front and center like we always do.

Like I said there is a time for war and a time for peace.  Look you know the recent history of Europe.  We are in a military alliance with many nations that border Ukraine as well as Russia.  An agreement was signed with Russia, US, UK, in the 90's that Ukraine would give up its nuclear weapons to Russia with a guarantee its borders would be respected.  A time for peace.  That agreement was violated with the "subtle" Russian invasion of the Donbass and Crimea.  Condemned under the strongest possible terms of course.  Then eventually open full invasion.  A time for war.

Governments blunder into unnecessary and immoral wars as we have. One can separate the sheeps from the goats.

Maybe my last post was a little rude.  I understand what you are saying.  War sucks and is not going to be stopped forever by human government.  Look at the joke the UN is.  I know of the military industrial complex.  The man that coined that phrase was a great general that fought against an evil force in that part of the world.  No doubt as in all wars vultures are profiting from it.  I know this that total isolationism does not work.  The Ukrainians are not asking for anyone's blood.  Just weapons to drive out an invading evil force.  Our own independence was aided by direct foreign military involvement not just weapons.  We live in a very corrupt world.  In this latest episode of world depravity I have made my judgment and you have made yours.  History will be the final judge.  I'll leave it at that.

Sure would be nice if some level of isolationism was in practice. Maybe confine ourselves to only send over comparable amounts of money as other countries are. We don't always have to strut around as Mr. CashyPants.

Biden: "I can declassify it just by thinking about it"

Reporter: "When did you think about declassifying it?"

They are that. They, however, are not equals in that regard.

Look I get it and would agree in most cases.  Other nations are ponying up.  Its not just us.  Britain and France for instance are providing long range missiles that at this point our nation has rejected though likely will provide.  Eastern European nations even the Germans and nordic countries now all get it.  The great evil was revealed when the northern suburbs of Kiev were liberated.  Just like the past.  Unlike the past the Russians have nukes so Putin is not going to off himself in a bunker in Moscow.  Maybe his end comes when the borders of Ukraine are restored.  I do not know.  What I do know is rinse and repeat.

I'm more concerned about what happens when China takes back Taiwan.

Surprised it hasn't happened already.  Probably waiting to see if Biden gets re-elected.

A much more serious problem as Taiwan controls about half the chip production in the world.

The soundbite from Pence yesterday in his interview with Tucker makes me question whether we shoul dbe in this proxy war with Russia.

Pence seemed way to excited about spending Billions in Ukraine and his comment about the crumbling of most US cities "thats not my concern", should scare the fuck out of everyone.

What proxy war?  There is absolutely no footage of it.
