Just found out about one that no one has ever really talked about. Yes, it happened in 2015, but it involved a black officer shooting and killing a white woman. The officer reported to a domestic disturbance call, apparently was attacked by a dog (suffered one bite), slipped on the ice, and discharged his firearm (twice) accidentally striking Autumn Steele [once] who had her young child beside her.

The officer can be heard on video telling his partner: "Oh, my God, no! Oh, fuck, Tim! Shit, Tim! I'm fucking going to prison, Tim!"

He did not go to prison. The lawsuit was settled out of court.

The lasd is currently being investigated for having a gang within the department maybe he should worry about that

Yes, and if we don't button things up we will be like Mexico in a heartbeat.

We are either going to have law and order, or we are finished.  The choice (on Nov. 3) has never been clearer.

It is public record. Of course the taxpayers or insurance pay depending on the city  but the numbers are  100 percent accurate..but please provide a link and educate me if I’m wrong

I am not saying the numbers are not accurate, I am saying the way you portrayed it is not accurate without full context.

Yeah, we're never coming anywhere close to as bad as Mexico.

The left and right-wing violence isn't organizing murders.  The shootings we see are mostly lone wolfs that simply adopted the ideology.  Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think the ideology creates domestic terrorists.

The property destruction and riots, on the other hand, is mostly left-wing.  Although I think a lot of it is Antifa-type groups that I'm not sure "left wing" is an accurate description.  And the right-wing groups are now coming out to actively resist that, but until recent years the right-wing groups mostly just got dressed up, had a parade and went home without incident.

This video is proof why I don't blame any officer for shooting. Thankfully, officer survived. Officers were after an attempted murder suspect, who did not survive. This all happened on August 29 in Dayton Beach.

We know. You'd be trigger happy and you'll never blame a cop, which you've made clear numerous times. I'm glad you're not a police officer. 🙏🏻

There are definitely times where an officer shouldn't be shooting, like the one where Autumn Steele was shot and killed. Everyone was quiet on that, even you. No one raised a fuss. It was as quiet as could be on that one. No one is honoring Autumn Steele with any shirts, helmet tributes, or signs at rallies. The Daytona Beach incident is quiet as well.

It doesn't fit the narrative. But, I'm glad you are keeping track of what I've said (which is maybe twice in 72 pages of this thread).

New footage of Rittenhouse came out, and it helps his case even further.

I really think it looks bad when someone shows up somewhere with a gun to be "public police"....but damn, if the local government would do their job, the average person wouldnt feel the need

It wasn't Seattle.  I think they called in the National Guard by the 3rd night.  Granted, that may have been because of this shooting, but a few days is a little quick to go all vigilante.

Hearing that kid talk reminded me of a case where a guy set-up to ambush some meth-heads breaking into his home.  I think he was rightfully convicted of murder because self-defense laws don't really allow you to create a situation where you can justify shooting someone in self-defense.

Charges only brought on one of the officers, all for “wanton endangerment”.

They were charged and the justice process played itself out.  That's all anyone has ever been asking for.  I imagine people will be quite pleased that justice has been served.

Seems like, given the mistakes made, someone somewhere should have been charged for involuntary manslaughter stemming from gross negligence.

Lol. Turns out the charges are actually for shooting into a neighbors apartment. So no charges are actually related to Taylor. I’m sure it will go over well.

I figured once a settlement was made there were not going to be any charges.
